I did do the research--Rasmussen, CBS, NYT, all these polls are conducted by phone. The obvious weakness here, as I've noted, is that people who pick up their phone and spend ten minutes speaking to a recording or a stranger, may not actually be representative of the population at large.
Yes, you said all of that in so many words earlier. For a whole lot of variable reasons that you are not taking into consideration, I disagree with your conclusion. I don't feel like going into it point for point. I don't think you're stupid for disagreeing with me. You have your opinion about polls. Sorry if you think my disagreeing but not wanting to spend a larger chunk of time dealing with the subject means to you that I'm treating you like I think you're stupid. That's not the case.
Damn it Glenn I thought my posts did more for this site than be-bops...must be because I am ---
--- a self-aggrandizing, racist attention seeker who may as well tattoo "You suck! Look at me, please!" on my forehead and be done with it.
If the expired date was 4 days ago, that medication is old -- it might not be what it originally was anymore. If you think you need amoxicillin, like you have an infection or illness, go to the doctor, please. If you don't think you can for some reason, call for some help, please.
Email me if you want. ondelette@earthlink.net but I'm not a doctor.
At 9:05 pm the major outlets are practically choking every time they mention Clinton being in the lead with about 23% of the precincts. Fox talked of their exit polls suggesting Hillary was toast, while CNN has been keeping quiet as has the major talk radio station.
Maybe the old girl will repel the attack from the upstart. Parsing the poll data had me convinced Clinton was going to get clobbered with Obama getting a huge bounce going out of it. I was convinced the Clintons would then unleash the fires of hell against this guy stopping at nothing to negatively define him.
Bill was out there today whining about the unfair media not being hard enough on Obama, which is so damned consistent with the persecution complex this couple has when it comes to media coverage. The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy was evil and now the Liberal Media was promoting Obama which was unfair. Is there any media that is "good" in their view if it does not sing Clinton virtues?
So tonight is fascinating to me, as it seems to defy all the poll data. When did the Clinton resurgence happen? What triggered it? Was it the teary-eyed moment in the diner that had me thinking of Nancy Kerrigan whining "Why me, whyyyyyyy!" when Tonya Harding's goon clobbered her? Was it a calculated moment akin to Big Bill's ability to cry on cue? Was it an impromptu moment that struck a chord with perimenapausal women everywhere who vascillate between tolerating their husband and wanting to tear their murderous faces off at the slightest change in estrogen?
What the hell happened? Come on Glenn, figure it out for me, you schmuck. How to the swarming media hoard blow the poll tracking, or what was it in the last 36 hours that swung it.
Or should I just wait for all the precincts to report and then try to figure it out?
First, if anything, I am leaning toward Obama. But nevertheless, I think the vote tonight in New Hampshire for Senator Clinton is a great thing to tell all the folks in the Village, one more time, that they don't have a clue. I also think there is a question of "where the beef" with my candidate and a tough race will help him substantiate his positions and not just try to get by on media froth. Perhaps they should get off the "bus" as it seems to breed nothing but group-think and a "high-school" cool kids versus nerds mentality.
Sorry O, but in a free society there is no obligation for that kind of coercive arrangement.

You responded to my post, and your critique of my post was that it was unsubstantive; now you critique it again, dismissing my argument entirely using the rationale that I am wrong, but you don't feel like going into the reasons why. That's lame.
have created more traction and interests and posts than anyone's of late. I have by my lonesome self cause one of Glenn's thread to exceed 1,000 hits..
Please instead on your nasty pithy angst and envy show some admiration and applause.. I mean really this place would be a funeral without my talents, insights and of course charisma..
President - Dem Primary
New Hampshire - 110 of 301 Precincts Reporting - 37%
Name Party Votes Vote %
Clinton , Hillary Dem 35,184 39%
Obama , Barack Dem 32,093 36%
Edwards , John Dem 14,863 17%
Won't it be fun
If Hillary wins tonight just for the yucks of knowing that reports of her "implosion" were premature.

I'd still like to see Edwards excel, but Hillary's doing well will suffice for now.

Thank you. seriously, Art James.
I recall your initial post. You raise some interesting points but nothing that renders statistical sampling by random phone calling obsolete or incapable of doing what it was designed to do: Take a snapshot. When many polls are done and number crunchers go to work on the aggregate data, a finer picture emerges. But it is still a picture of themoment and recent past. It is not a forecast.
Those last two posts don't sound like the thrasher to me. They do, however, sound like L.W.M. throwing gasoline on a fire most of us had hoped was at least temporarily out.
Please tell me I'm a suspicious old fool. (I won't mind, honest.)

What is the meaning of life? Please go to your favorite search engine and find as much information about that as you can. Put everything else aside in your life for however long it takes you to find all the pertinent evidence. Then write a coherent 1,000 to 2,000 word essay to make your case. Then if someone challenges anything in your essay, do it all over again.
That's my point, Omooex. If you want to claim victory, go ahead. As I said, you have your opinion. I have no problem with that. I just disagree. I don't want to write the essay. Okay?
