Illustrative New Hampshire snippets

The decisions of New Hampshire voters are not yet known. One can't say the same for the journalists covering the election.

The letters thread is now closed.

Go Hillary!

Maybe she'll actually talk about her bribe from Tyson, or open the historical vaults on her "experience." Heh.

In other news as pointed out elsewhere, the war is no longer a primary concern and over three quarters of the respondents feel economically secure. Good times.

Heh.

I know. I was a Bush staffer sitting in the bleachers when it happened.

You know you were a Bush staffer. Beyond that, you obviously don't know shit from shinola. That we all can see.

I also agree with obi wan liberali

The ethics detailed at the Society of Professional Journalists should help those posters (and MSM stenographers) determine the difference between reporting & commentary.

In the meantime, news reporting now means a sports fan mentality. They don't report issues, they cover teams. Many US voters (unfortunately) seem to fall for it. Rooting for their team. Facts aren't checked; rumors fly over the wall, players are courted or cursed.

Glenn's articles are terrific, but I have little hope that anything will change. Like most of you, I read the internet & foreign news.

And I also want to thank the rest of the world for having no news worth reporting during the endless US primary regurgitation.

It's been a slow two years for Europe, Asia etc. while our brave candidates have been stumping - even Congress has been tied up.

However now that we have primaries for the forseeable future, it's TERRIFIC that the rest of planet has decided to go on vacation & just watch the horse race. It makes MSM's job so much easier.

New Hampshire

Here's a theory I've had for about a year now.

A Hillary Clinton candidacy scared the hell out of the Republican hierarchy because they knew they couldn't beat her.

They knew they could beat all the others, but not Hillary.

What they did was institute a behind the scenes plan to sabotage her candidacy. Using the rarely mentioned but formidable Conservative media, and taking advantage of the slothful reporters and columnists in the MSM who disdain expending shoe leather to dig into a story as too much like work, and who find it much easier to write and comment about whatever they read or hear coming from Drudge, the Weekly Standard, Rush Limbaugh or FOX etc. the Republicans put their plan in motion, here's two examples.

The first thing I saw was the 'We don't need dynasties of Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton' which of course was a shot at Hillary. This was heard constantly, for weeks, and is still being heard throughout the media now and then.

The second thing was selling the idea that 'she thinks she's got it wrapped up, she feels she's been crowned already, that she's entitled to the nomination', or other variations on this theme. This was to make her seem arrogant, someone above the process. The Republican plan worked in Iowa.

After Obama took Iowa and was seemingly headed for a big win in NH, they thought Hillary was on the ropes and a second phase popped up; getting conservative commentators, columnists, reporters, to say good things about Obama.

All of this was aimed at getting any candidate but Hillary.

HRC playing to same ole suspects in NH where diversity is as foreign as beachtowels..

The intell on the voters is now coming out and as I noted white voters always lie to the media and pollsters. HRC offered the usual suspects the same tired status quo message.

Change requires courage and vision voters in states like NH in a region which is almost as racially segregated as any in this country to expect an aggregate of white voters to value vision and diversity was a steep challenge but Obama had to make his case there. In our country in 2008 even the usual suspects deserve to hear that truth.

From here it is apparent that white voters must be compelled to release themselves from thier insular cultural traits and value inclusion. They know in the world today has been leaders like HRC will not take our country into the next century with thier limited skillset in a global marketplace of demands...

White voters the majority of them especially in states like NH and others reflect these truths: most whites have never worked for a black boss, never been educated by a black teacher, never had a black doctor or lawyer never really had a black person make any significant decisions for them in life( these voters refect the same demographics by and large of those on this thread and the internet) must be convinced thet Obama has allowed whites to influence his life and as such they must have the courage to reject the past and prepare for the future..

I am convinced he is up to the task the question is are the usual suspects white voters capable of stepping up?? In NH they were not and that sadddens me...

Keeping hope alive....

THE PUNDITS EAT CROW -- IT'S ABOUT TIME AND LONG OVERDUE

This media game of swooning over one candidate, skewering another and ignoring others must stop, along with voter corruption, if this country is to regain any footing it had before Bush.

My glee last night was better than a rare wine, sex or Christmas morning as I watched our overpaid, unprofessional pundit population eat crow and plenty of it on national television. They were choking on every report that Senator Clinton might pull out a win....Chris Matthews, Joe Scarborough, Tim Russert, Brian Williams (yes, him too), ONLY KEITH OLBERMAN HAS ANY CLASS OR INTELLECT AT MSNBC. Howard Fineman (Newsweek), and over at CNN, Lou Dobbs, Gloria Borger. Didn't see Jack Cafferty who sneers everytime he says the name Clinton. Old Wolf Blitzer had a few rough moments as well. Bill Bennett had it especially hard ... "he knows black people" but does he know anything at all about women? Bill it is time you suffer just a tad. Don't watch Fox News much, just can't handle it, but bet those sanctimonious jerks soiled their collective pants. They don't like John McCain either ... so they suffered a double hit.

I never miss an opportunity to call these charlatan journalists on their lack of integrity in reporting ... hope all of you won't either. If we are to regain the White House, we can't let any of our candidates be ravaged by these guys. Speak up.
