    The Real McCoy

Assistant District Attorney John "Jack" McCoy and his equally fictional Unity08 Party have always left me with a vague sense of woe: I like Waterston, and I think he is a terrific actor (this is not an intentional "actors should keep their mouths shut screed" by any means, Sean Penn, George Clooney and even Sports Announcer-cum-Commentator Keith Olbermann have plenty of relevant things to say, not to mention Dorito's spokesperson and former South Carolina Primary Candidate Stephen Colbert). I do not think Unity 08 ever had any serious platform other than cooperation for cooperation's sake, which Congressional Democrats are doing a fine job of per se.

Thank you for clarifying for me my intuitions about Unity08.

Happy New Year, Glenn. Happy New Year, everyone!
