bethincary...
Not buying the head hitting a "latch" at all.
That change in story does seem calculated to minimize her martyrdom. Along the lines of our not counting our war casualties if they are "only" injured or killed by some means other than an enemy's weapon.

WT, No one could mistake you for a misogynist.
ondelette, bystander, dirigo, and others... thank you, again, for all of the links and insights...
...and thanks, too, to RMP and Jim W. and the rest of the coop for some inspired humor.

At least I have the guts to use my name.
I am anti-med. Just vitamins.
Thanks for your always enlightening input to the thread.

@bethincary
Sorry, I had to run off for a moment.
Not many people seem to be buying the knock on the head theory, but the Paks have refused an offer for an international probe of the Bhutto killing.
To her credit I think, Hillary Clinton proposed that.
Sounds like you can make the computer jump faster than I can. I'm still on a learning curve with it.
Be well ...

what utter baloney
a massive transference of wealth from the public coffers to private accounts. Is that America? --DogFather
A transfer of wealth from the public coffers to private accounts? You care to explain this?
I suppose you're relying on the usual moonbat talking points about tax cuts "for the rich" (in fact they were tax cuts for anyone who paid taxes), but letting people keep more of their own money is not "transferring from the public coffers to private accounts." Remember, the government owns no money of its own; it's all owned by the taxpayers.
You are an idiot supreme, DogFather, who has no idea how our government works but simply repeats the same blather he reads on numerous moonbat websites.
Come back when you've got a clue.

This is an outrage!
A thread this long and it's not about Ron Paul?!?
-
Huh?
You are an idiot supreme... who has no idea how our government works...
Our government works?

Poultry in Motion
Ted Haggard
YES! That chicken crossed the road!
And, YES!! We should condemn that crossing!
But we should LOVE that chicken....while we HATE the crossing!!!
(can someone pull the pluck on that stoplight camera please?)

Mmmmm....
what utter baloney
Udder baloney... Mmmm.

can someone pull the pluck on that stoplight camera please?
That title was LOL. I don’t know anything about a plucking camera Pedinska, but the camera that caught the bear and the dogs was great. Thanks bystander.

bystander's photos
They really are amazing. A polar bear behaving like Winnie the Pooh. Bebop, you have to see them -- only you could tell us what they mean.

"Come back when you've got a clue."
--Anonymous
You've never heard of waste, fraud and abuse?
Come back when you've...
Or, preferably, just go back to from where you came. Freeperville?

Oh, dear
Bethincary is approvingly citing prisonplanet.com, where lunatic theories that the WTC were brought down by controlled explosions still gain active currency. Anyone who believes this still knows nothing about engineering, physics, and particularly demolitions.
In short, anyone who still believes that somehow an entire cabal of conspiracists arranged for hijackings of airplanes (Yes, we saw both planes hit the buildings) while sometime earlier managing to wire both WTC towers with the literally tonnes of explosives need to bring down such structures and the miles of cabling that would be needed to connect each blast and synchronise the explosions is a stark raving lunatic who last track of their sanity some time ago.
-
Mmm....
Pull the cluck on that stoplight camera? :-)

Nice try, Kitt
... trying to rescue the clueless DogFather, but he didn't say "waste, fraud and abuse." He said transferring money from the public coffers to private accounts.
He somehow thinks, like most moonbats, that the government owns your money and merely lets you keep some of it each year. You're welcome to believe that. In fact, why don't you pay my taxes for me then.
-
@ Anonymous who worries about his taxes
I suppose you're relying on the usual moonbat talking points about tax cuts "for the rich" ...letting people keep more of their own money is not "transferring from the public coffers to private accounts." Remember, the government owns no money of its own; it's all owned by the taxpayers.
That taxes were the first thing that came to your mind when reading what DogFather wrote says everything we need to know about you.
The first thing that came to my mind was Halliburton. Quickly followed by Dyncorp, General Electric, Blackwater and all their buddies. The list is long...and I trust you know who every one of them since you approve of their kind of larceny.
Census Counts 100,000 Contractors in Iraq
Civilian Number, Duties Are Issues
By Renae Merle
Washington Post Staff Writer
Tuesday, December 5, 2006; Page D01
There are about 100,000 government contractors operating in Iraq, not counting subcontractors, a total that is approaching the size of the U.S. military force there, according to the military's first census of the growing population of civilians operating in the battlefield.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/12/04/AR2006120401311.html
I'm pretty sick of my tax dollars being used to pay the military-industrial complex to murder civilians.

Stop Space Socialism and Compulsory Evolutionism Now!
Ron Paul's 'Evolution Denial'?
Posted by Lew Rockwell at 08:38 PM
Oh please. Ron is a scientist, and like the late Murray Rothbard (who, unlike Ron, was not a man of faith), has doubts about the official church of Darwinism. Ron's position, folks, is not Huckabeeism. See, for example, this devastating Fred Reed article on The Metaphysics of Evolution. Fred is also not religious.
BTW: Fred's article also explains why Official Science is always pushing for space socialism to find life on other planets (other than making big bucks, that is). It's to prove their counter-religion. Nothing wrong with trying that. But pay for it yourself, guys.
Oh, and thanks to Walter Block for reminding me of this second devastating Fred Reed article, Compulsory Evolutionism.
