The sound on YouTube is silent and the computer is real slow. Therefore since the Goldberg boys and girls HATE Grains and Greens, I have to resort to earthen fertility day celebration of the more peaceful past....
How about the Goddess of the Heights and debts, Inanna, Queen of Heaven and Earth? This was before poor baby Jesus had to be hidden away in a barn so Herod "Dumizi" Goldberg's and Michele "Innana" Maulkin's were out to kill "liberals" and non-American right-wingers...

I assume M.M. is reading: (Innanna sang)
"My honey-man, my honey-man sweetens me always.
My lord, the honey-man of the gods,
He is the one my womb loves best.
His hand is honey, his foot is honey,
He sweetens me always.
My eager impetuous caresser of the naval,
My caresser of the soft thighs,
He is the one my womb loves best,
He is lettuce planted by the water.
~
O Lady, your breast is your field. (Dumuzi sang)
Ianna, your breast is your field.
Your broad field pours out plants.
Your broad field pours out grains.
Water flows from on high for your servant.
Bread flows from on high for your servant.
Pour it out for me, Inanna.
I will drink all you offer.
P.S. It says much more. It was from those Aphrodite days when she wore a thin nighty and sang to the morning star. They loved crops of greens and thanked Nature for the grains. There was barley for beer. and for God's sake some appreciation for intelligibility. It goes into those better Sumerian times when a "liberal" wasn't nailed naked to a tree. Was there some courtship talk in those silent YouTubes? Hush. Is there a
sweet Jesus Sing-Sing Song or a lullaby to poor dead Jesus?
Merry Everybody on Christmas Day. Don't hate or kill anybody.
Michelle M has not only heard the Word of God, she has read it with her own eyes from His holy book.
On judgment day she cannot plead ignorance; she cannot cry "Lord, Lord, forgive me for I did not know." She will be cast into the lake of fire, along with the rest of those who blaspheme by making war in the name of the Prince of Peace, those who claim to love God but hate His children and reject His Word.
I for one am sick of all this blatant use of religion for political purposes. The bible says render unto ceasar what is ceasar's, and render unto God what is God'ss. Religion and state are to be kept SEPERATE. The last thing we need is another anti-science theocrat in the White House. How many people have died from diseases, that would of been cured by stem-cell research? How many cases of std's have been spread, because public schools have to teach abstinence-only sex ed? It received very little notice, but the CDC said that std's are at their highest levels in decades. A whole generation of school children not being taught condom usage, and now we have record std rates. Does anyone think that there might be a connection? This is the result of ignorance caused by Bush inserting his religious beliefs into public policy. So now every disgusting GOPer running for prez, is trying to one up each other on who's the biggest Christian. I am sick and tired of having a prez force his religious beliefs on the country. 7 years and counting of theocrat Bush, have done enough damage to this country. We don't need another 4 years of it.
Why does the Republican establishment think that Mike Huckabee should be barred from the use of Christian symbols while John McCain -- and, for that matter, George Bush -- are to be cheered when they do
Because Mike Huckabee is an actual Christian?
This has been another edition of....etc.
Merry Christmas everyone!
I thought Michel Maulkin was Jewish? Her husband is.
The Best of Wishes this Holiday and the New Year.
I am Christian and beleive that Jesus taught Love and forgiveness. I am not much on the whole theology and religion thing, but I beleive with all that I am in Love and the Power of Love.
Love does not come to us to be happy, it comes to us so we may be fulfilled.
May you and those near and dear to you have Joy at this season and Peace through out the year to come. May Love fill your heart and overflow into your life and those lucky enough to share it with you.
A couple of years ago, Dave Chappelle concocted a skit in which a blind black man didn't realize he was black and was a virulent racist. He was loved by the KKK and its followers who didn't realize his rants were coming from a black man; seeing as he only appeared in his white robes and hood.
Whenever I hear or read Michelle Malkin's self hating, ignorant and truly evil spew, I am reminded of Dave Chappelle and how incredibly brilliant he really was.
I think essentially what the GOP establishment wants is someone who uses the Christian religion as a shield rather than a sword.
Regardless of whether or not G.W. Bush actually has any deeply held religious convictions, religion for him has been a political shield; allowing him to court a base and at the same time distance himself from anything unsavory in his past via his supposed spiritual rebirth.
To condemn what he was before his "conversion", one would have to devalue the legitimacy of that conversion. Personally I don't have any problem with doing that but it isn't even a remote possibility within the political/media establishment.
At the same time though, besides the faith-based initiative - which it could be argued was mainly a political operation to fund the evangelical infrastructure with the express purpose of getting out the vote - Bush himself isn't religiously active and doesn't even seem to attend church regularly.
Huckabee on the other hand is a full time practicing member of his church. I'm not making any qualitative judgement on whether Huckabee's religious experience rises at all above standard dogmatic regurgitations, just of his outward actions and involvement in the church.
Huckabee's religion is a sword in comparison to Bush's shield. The GOP establishment hates that because they can't control the active religiosity only the passive symbolic one in which little is given but much is received.
The same, more or less, goes for McCain, who is not outwardly, threateningly religious.
But the reason the boys from Fox got all verklempt over McCain's ad is of course because it plays on the narratives to which they are programmed to reflex: the innocent god-fearing American at the hands of a barbaric enemy, tortured and in pain when, on Christmas Day, one of the 'bad guys' draws a cross in the sand reaching across the boundaries of language and tacitly admitting that his side is wrong by paying tribute to the one true Christian God and uplifting our hero.
You can almost here the boys at Fox weapily shouting, "Our God is stronger!"
Huckabbee though went beyond vague symbols and actually reminded people that Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Christ. Ouch, bad form.
