WHO ARE JAY ROCKEFELLOW'S COMMITTEE STAFF MEMBERS WHO INTERACT WITH WHITE HOUSE AND GOP COMMITTEE MEMBER'S STAFFS REGARDING INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE AFFAIRS?
WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?
RE: Posner
The wiki entry on him is interesting. Good reviews on the book at Amazon.
My take: Nothing really new here, except the alleged reason for the destruction of the evidence. ISI, the Pakistani intel service is well known to have connections to OBL and perhaps the Paki AF guy was his handler. That some Saudi princes were funding him is probably certain. You know they take many wives and have even more kids than wives. There are beaucoup Saudi princes. Most of the hijackers were Saudis. Ondolette, being a mathematician could calculate the odds of the untimely deaths but it's the conspiracy that most of us agree happened and it's mostly embarassing for the administration, not proof of complicity, as you are aware. It's still pretty interesting if this is a reason for the destruction of the evidence. I keep an open mind (not so open it falls out). It's quite possible.
This administration insists we overlook their simple mistakes. Yet they want us to completely trust whatever they do. They- are- the -deciders. I'm so confused??? Misplace tapes, leak CIA operatives, accidentally fly bombs over our countryside, State information that is not quite in the proper language, go to war on lies.......But let them make it very clear by repeating it over and over, they need to see this through! What do we know? He's the smart one; he's from the decider's office.
Sometimes I wonder if the best choice is simply to vote for the candidate who seems most likely to accelerate the process in the hope that things might actually get bad enough quickly enough so that the whole edifice might collapse and we could start over. What do you think, Che? Giuliani in 2008?

Are you a disaster capitalist?
Sounds like the Shock Doctrine to me.
Nah. Don't go there. Incrementalism back from the edge.
I haven't seen him today?
perhaps freedom of choice?
freedon to live life according to what an individuals' own morals/inner guidance are?
the experience of finding ones' purpose on an individual basis-without having morals compromised by others?
in substitution of "freewill".
I cannot think of a better term to substitute for it-and of the "more than a few" books I've read on Enlightenment-this is the term used (freewill).
What I think is the misnomer is religion. I don't think Enlightenment or the advancement of evolution by Enlightenment is necessarily a religious experience/journey-but there does seem to be a definitive lack of a better word to summarize the thoughts on. Those evolutionary changes can technological, social, religious....not necessarily just religious.
What "IT" is-seems to be leaps in the collective conscience of a given society(which spreads)-as a result of uncontrolled, unrestricted laws and chaos. (Read Greek history .....). When society can reconcile, admit, put laws in place, reach the collective conscience on the mistakes that were made---only can we move forward from that on the evolutionary scale(of Enlightenment) towards what our "truth" or calling is meant to be-(again, socially, economically,religious...)
Which is another reason I very much hate this war, the wiretapping, the lack of Habeus Corpus, the torture. Instead of a steady path of advancement (where we were technologically in the 90s)-those advancements are being funneled into the military complex (when we could be using it to fund new energy
technologies, stem cell research...). These past 7 years have been a setback in many more ways than one into darker ages-where the same ego, greed, arrogance of wars of imperialism have been proven in the end-wrong.We've become a more stupid society as a whole---by intentional design of the corporate masters who enslave us all to thier "choices" for us.
The "Glenn: STOP" post was clearly a joke. I was just pointing out the absurdity in hoping the Democrats are going to ride to anyone's rescue (at least without a lot of ass kicking from the voters). Of course, I want Glenn to continue his noble work, which I greatly appreciate. And while I will continue to mock people who blame Nader for the loss 2000, I didn't vote for him and probably wouldn't in the future.
The oafish mistakes this Administration has made, pales in comparison to what they do, post flaw.
I'm not going to be duped by the belief that any previous rein was pristine.
But, this ruling 'class' has made a mockery of 'government of the people, by the people, and for the people'.
True, or is there a precedent I'm not aware of? Please tell me.
It's time for us, Bush's employer, to let this boy know, he can't get away with anything, because of who his daddy is and who his friends (the Arabs, for example) are.
At that time, I supported Clinton's position with respect to NAFTA, Welfare Reform, and other 'middle of the road' economic issues. Unfortunately, I was wrong, as has become abundantly clear. NAFTA and unfettered free trade is a disaster for the middle class of this country. Worse, triangulation is an absolute disaster when it comes to foreign policy. There is a different way, as clearly articulated by Al Gore nearly 2 years ago in his MLK Day speech.
So now you understand that Bill Clinton was the best Republican president since Eisenhower. Most of our Democratic pols are moderate conservatives who would have run as Republicans if the GOP hadn't slouched to the right so fast.
Incrementalism. It's not for the impatient but it does seem to work. It's how the GOP got us here.

That was Art Guerilla.
That's not Beeb, is it? Art James? Nah! Art Guerilla tries to imitate Beeb's format but the content is... not Beeb.
