DiFi Impeachment?
She can't be recalled, but she could be impeached, in theory. I am told this requires the creathion of "Articles of Impeachment" and some kind of grounds of impeachment (I am not sure if it has to be High Crimes and Misdemeanors) Then signature gathering, then passed by 2/3 of US House and ratified by Senate. Glenn Greenwald would know if this is true. It is obviously a long shot but just going through the process as far as possible might at least bring DiFi back closer to the flock.
I am more than willing to get down in the dirt if given no other choice and I think that going after her with a campaign to expose her corruption is the best choice. I firmly believe that there is no such thing as an honest Defense Contractor. Somewhere along the path a palm has been greased and sobmebody outthere knows where that body is buried.
Somewhere beats the heart of an honest whistle blower trying to be heard. That whisleblower has the proof on tape or in documents. That person can be invaluable to the people of this country who have on other way to effect an end to this ongoing betrayal. It is my fervent hope that a person such as this will bring that information to their favorite investigative reporter, like they did with the VA system, or the FBI, and start the ball rolling. The blogosphere will keep that ball in play. We can make something of an impact in the Democratic Party if only to show them that they ignore up at their own peril.
Who knows, if the corruption and evidence is strong enough, maybe she will lose her comittee assignments or she will retire for 'health reasons' to be come the lobbyist she seems to be grooming herself for.

DiFi worthless
Being a constituent, I'll sign the first re-call petition that is handed to me.

Ahhh, another anonymous coward

Glenn has often remarked that he finds the defeatism and despair tiresome. So do I. -- L.W.M.
Well then it really is too bad for you that no one gives a shit what you think. If there was ever a person that qualified for Glenn's "one comment per post" designation it would be you. Who the fuck do you think you are anyway? My guess is that you are some Democratic party operative trying to push the "vote for us whores no matter what" meme. Seriously, you are almost as bad as "teh sugarman." Get over yourself.

Chris Senilitard, perhaps? It sounds like you. No self-respecting Green or progressive would write what you just did. Pure Pauliac. Glenn has yet to scold me or ask me to limit my posts. Can we say the same about you? In truth, it is often quite a chore for me to be here. As I said, I find all the despair and defeatism tiresome, and as Glenn has said himself on numerous occasion, "self-defeating". Some people had questions and I took it upon myself to try and answer them in best manner possible, for the benefit of other and the facts. Still, the same questions. It's like people read a few lines and the default engram in their brains is the one Karl Rove would like to put there. The same one Pauliacs would like to put in the minds of disillusioned Democrats. They have a different one for disillusioned Republicans. And just as obnoxious and so they were banned at Red State. Why? Because on the internets, everyone is an "operative". Just like you. And most people here know I am to the left of just about any Democrat out there, with the possible exception of Bernie Sanders, so you suppositon is ludicrous, risible. True, I am far more militant and aggressive than most but I'm not an impatient idiot. I'm also not about to do what you cultists have done. Fair and legal are the ways to win elections. Anything else is a perversion of democracy and the will of the people. Fascists and totalitarians do that.
'Criminal' Botnet Stumps for Ron Paul, Researchers Allege
By Sarah Lai Stirland 10.31.07 | 12:00 AM
If Texas congressman Ron Paul is elected president in 2008, he may be the first leader of the free world put into power with the help of a global network of hacked PCs spewing spam, according to computer-security researchers who've analyzed a recent flurry of e-mail supporting the long-shot Republican candidate.
"This is clearly a criminal act in support of a campaign, which has been committed with or without their knowledge," says Gary Warner, the University of Alabama at Birmingham's director of research in computer forensics. "The question is, will we see more and more of this, or will this bring shame to the campaigns and will they make clear that this is not a form of acceptable behavior by their supporters?" Warner pointed to provisions of the federal Can-Spam Act.
Ron Paul spokesman Jesse Benton says the campaign has no knowledge of the scam. Warner himself says that he has no reason to believe that the Paul campaign had anything to do with these messages.
Some participants in the online political world have long suspected Paul's technically sophisticated fan base of manipulating online tools and polls to boost the appearance of a wide base of support. But the UAB analysis is the first to document any internet shenanigans.
The finding is significant, because Paul's online support -- as gauged by blog mentions, friends on social-networking sites such as MySpace and popularity in online polls -- has garnered him wide mainstream print and television coverage, despite his relatively poor performance in offline polling.
The spamming allegations are based on a slew of e-mails captured by contributors to the university's Spam Data Mining for Law Enforcement Applications project, a research venture that receives 2.5 million spam messages a day, and selects about 100,000 a week for analysis. The project receives its spam from other researchers with ties to ISPs, and in some cases from "trap" addresses that have never been used for any other purpose...

Although we on the left should learn a few tricks from any opponent. I never take my ideological enemies for granted. No matter how nutty and fringe they might be. We are talking about the battle for the American electorate here and they did vote for Reagan and GW Bush.
Some people here have been claiming an attack Iran was imminent for the last two years. It hasn't happened yet and if we can credit the outcome of the last election for that, they should be grateful for small wonders.
How is that next Ron Paul internet money stunt going? Veteran's Day, though? A bad choice, perhaps.
Why not track it here.

Care to make a little wager? I bet it's a bust because your on-line "popularity" is a contrived illusion. Fake.
If Glenn wants me to shut up, all he has to do is ask me in the threads and I will happily comply, and he will surely sign his name to it.
