This is much bigger than Boylan

Yes, let’s stop with the IP addresses and look at the larger picture here – what Col. Boylan and his henchmen in Wingnuttia are attempting to do – silence anyone and everyone who says a discouraging word about their glorious, perpetual wars.

Hugh Hewitt, who Boylan granted an interview, is now supporting Bob Owens’ (Confederate Yankee) crusade to shut down The New Republic because they dared to publish the Beauchamp posts that suggested that some of our soldiers are less than perfect under the strain of war.

This will be a shot across the bow to all media that they will be harassed and pursued by the Right Wing Noise Machine if they publish what Col. Boylan doesn’t want to hear.

Hewitt & Co. (which now includes our politicized military, and Col. Boylan) is going after the owners of The New Republic, CanWest Mediaworks.

Hewitt has links to the board members biographies with their photos, and where they can be contacted. Hewitt wants them to be asked: “why are they allowing The New Republic to damage its (and their) brand?”

This campaign will continue until they give up and shut down The New Republic for good. This will teach Americans and members of the media everywhere not to ever suggest that anyone in the military is less than perfect.

Michelle Malkin will soon join the fray, I’m sure. With important details of where these board members live, where their children go to school, along with their personal home phone numbers, and maps to where they live. She'll need to interview their neighbors. That's where this is going.

The New Republic is first on a long list of media outlets to be silenced. That is their goal. That is what this is really about, and that’s why this issue is so important.

This is much bigger than Boylan. It’s about what kind of country we will live in.
