Paul Dirks you can be today's cook.

Whip up some rotten duck, triple yokes, and crack the egg shell with a pneumatic jack hammer (no use a jerk-0-lantern)nosey knows picker, and toss in the slop a pile of un-Done chicken compost.

Poor anonymous Liberal

P.S.- Please Paul Dirks.

If you have a moose, use moose dung. Yum...apologies. I'm Posted-out or post-menstrual? Any thing is possible these jerky war-crazed neo-con days.

re: Aycharaych on LWM and other Butchers Aprons ...

L.W.M

See, you refuse to address my main thesis.

Not to speak for LWM. He's pretty good at that himself, but it's fair to say you aren't worth a bucket of warm spit to waste pixels on with that stupid illogical statement. Oh, I'm sorry "thesis" you called it.

There is no doubt in my mind that if someone called you a liar then you would take that as an insult.

Here from the cheap seats, he never called you a liar. He implied that something about your posts "just weren't right ..." And he's not the only one, hence my retort.

I note that you did not reply to my point about the current resident's winning the '04 election and how it indicates that roughly half the country leans Republican.

Just one minor data point:

Fifty-percent of voters does not equal half the country.

I predict that you will not respond rationally to any of my substantive statements.

Substantive? Dude/Dudette, you really need to learn how-to communicate via the written word. Maybe then, just maybe, you might write something of a substantial nature. Until then, you merely come off as a effing buffoon.

To LWM:

So you and Mona, huh? I should have known the worm was turning with all the Anonymous postings. Is it true what they say about those Libertarian chicks?

:-)

Remember the America before 9/11?

Our heads were up our asses. I'll be upset when we start cutting terrorists heads off on video.

We are lucky that Gore didn't become President.

Let's cut to the chase

I have no more time to waste on you, nor inclination to do so.

Aycharaych... Certainly I'm a propagandist

You had better look that up. You've just admitted to being a liar. A propagandist is someone who knowingly and intentionally disseminates false information. We call that person a liar. Some may quibble with that definition but they are probably propagandists. You'll have to admit that openly admitting you are a liar makes you stupid.

Case closed.

If my statement is so "stupid" and "illogical" then I'm sure you can provide a comprehensive list of the many federal level liberal politicians who have taken the position that the War On (some) Drugs should be ended.

Do that and I will happily admit I'm wrong and apologize.

Here from the cheap seats, he never called you a liar. He implied that something about your posts "just weren't right ..." And he's not the only one, hence my retort.

He did indeed strongly imply that I'm a liar.

Just one minor data point:

Fifty-percent of voters does not equal half the country.

So you wish to claim that voters are not representative of the population as a whole politically?

If indeed you wish to claim that there are far more liberals than conservatives in the US then that would imply that liberals are far less likely to exercise their right to vote than are conservatives.

Substantive? Dude/Dudette, you really need to learn how-to communicate via the written word. Maybe then, just maybe, you might write something of a substantial nature. Until then, you merely come off as a effing buffoon.

Those who cannot communicate without resorting to cheap, grammar school insults are the buffoons.

That was just another clue and a pretty good one. He's selling something and being a bit too coy about it. That's fine, but just come right out and say it and leave it at that. I'm not in the mood for dancing around. I'm pretty up front about my agenda. it's pretty simple, too. It's based on all the latest available evidence. Reality based. If anything I'm a pragmatist.

I'm not having anymore fights with Mona. From now on, she's always half right.

P.S. I think she's too young for me. I thought she was older.

'morning everybody.

Bebop, et al. nice to see you.

How long until Leahy caves on his "I won't vote for Mukasey until he admits waterboarding is torture" position? Anyone?

LOL, perhaps you ought to look it up, not I.

Umm.. Is there anything shorter than an attosecond?

Friday, October 26, 2007 07:05 AM

Just to be clear...

...lest I be scolded as a nattering nabob of negativity - I'm quite certain he (Leahy) will surprise me this time.

The mincer

'morning everybody.

Bebop, et al. nice to see you.

How long until Leahy caves on his "I won't vote for Mukasey until he admits waterboarding is torture" position? Anyone?

-- bamage

No comment. But I take the long view. I don't want a Republican, any Republican, making appointments in 2009. I don't want them to have enough votes to fili anything in Congress, either.

The mincer,

You can't be serious. Dictionary definitions are so definitive.

Propaganda is a specific type of message presentation, aimed at serving an agenda. Even if the message conveys true information, it may be partisan and fail to paint a complete picture. The book "Propaganda And Persuasion" defines propaganda as "the deliberate, systematic attempt to shape perceptions, manipulate cognitions, and direct behavior to achieve a response that furthers the desired intent of the propagandist."

An academic will strive for an objective and wertfrei explanation of the term. I'm a bit more tactless. Free of guile. I don't mince words. Liar. I'll leave the mincing to you.

What on God's Green Earth does the 2004 election have to do with today? It's like you are too stupid to look up stuff on the intertubes. Do you think George Bush, any Republican, would get 51% of the popular vote today? We all know what you are selling. No one is buying.
