The Double Tap Rule and Muddying the Role of the Combatant...

...one may not-after traversing an objective-return to wounded combatants to kill them.

...one may not booby trap ordinance or designate kill zones around ordinance in a AO (Area of Operation) where civilians are intermingled with lawful combatants.

One does not en vigor the enemy by these means as it provides the enemy a stronger moral means by which to continue fighting. A motivated enemy is simply more deadly.

This is Infantry 101 and basic common sense (and is supported by articles in the Geneva convention BTW).

Fox news in their bloodthirsty efforts have now designated two distinct groups within the military:

    1) Those who would violate the double tap and muddy rule.

    2) Those who follow time-tested battlefield techniques for defeating the enemy on both the tactical and psychological fronts.

Fox lauds the first group, but demonizes the second.

    A question:

Should not Fox news be held as treasonous for supporting rogue elements within the military that enliven and support enemy?
