    But make fun of the Prophet and watch out! I have never in my life experienced this same reaction from a fundamentalist Christian given the same level of insult to their Jesus. And I ought to know. I've lived in the Bible belt among the Bush-loving bottom percentile for way too long.

    But apparently not long enough to have heard of North Carolina Senator Jesse Helms, who went on a 30 year rampage against the NEA for a single depiction of his Lord in a jar of piss.

    Come on, take the advice of a guy who was imprisoned, persecuted and then killed by the Catholic Church for the lack of purity of his religious beliefs: Cervantes. "Comparisons are odious."
