    You raise some interesting points

    Mr. Greenwald, but really I don't think we should judge these things until Gen. Petraeus delivers his report in September.

    (Sorry for the late posting. And, Mr. Greenwald, I just saw a response of yours from a week ago -- it's easy to lose track of these comment threads -- and I just want to say I appreciate your response. We are almost halfway through August, and I haven't seen any reason to stop posting this comment. I need another beer.)
