Glenn, parts of your post could be construed as being anti-Israel, even though all you do is ask for inclusion of Israel as an issue into a sensible and reational debate on geopolitics. The problem with current policies towards the Middle East - on Christian, Muslim, Jewish sides - is neither Israel the nation or state nor the underlying religious history.
The real problem is that Israel has "friends" like Joe Lieberman [maybe his mother was Jewish, his own convictions seem to be anything but] and self-proclaimed God-listener Pastor Hagee*. With friends like that, to borrow from Yiddish lore, who needs enemies?
*How come those claiming the literal truth of the Bible as Gods word loudest are those violating all those laws Abrahamic God came up with regarding his own superiority? How can humble human beings, far from being all-powerful, all-seeing, all-knowing, dare to interpret HIS word? It's hard enough to swallow God appointed a human proxy on earth through his son [being himself] and St. Peter in the form of the pope; but every human a proxy as Protestants claim? And why is it the most obviously clinical insane God is talking to?
(3) Is there anyone who can identify the specific views of Mike Gravel, Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul that are "crazier" and more "unserious" than the views expressed here by John Hagee and Joe Lieberman?
Well, one clear example of craziness is that they're all continuing to run for president despite the fact that Very Serious People have decided that they're unelectable. Any sane person would realize that being declared unelectable means that one is unelectable.

How?
That read was not Literacy. You lie? They say, "Pants afire!"
Blaze.
Heresy.
Maybe holy (no) socks Joe Lieberman and unholy reverend (no)
Mr. "Sacred" Hagee is to be later judged Hoopoop? The RTW'a legacy will be they've been crunched upon the numb skull from an asteroid hot scolding raisin and peanut muffin.
Open and hung wide-open blabbermouths are death-hate-jaws folk. Those are not Kin folk. Hagee bewilders me and a world knows Hagee's are boo-muy-loco crazy. A tough muffin preacher or politician muffin-mouth, blabbering baloney and rotten-molded holy swiss, catches hoof-disease, and maggots from the garbage dump congregate to flood toward the oral cavity, eventually.
Tell one lie or propogate hate, and a whole blazing-world is invited to hurl abuse, says the black-book-bible tucked under stinky politico's, BO arm pit. O, Pit? No matter. Yes.
Hagee's 'good-buddies' are adept at deciphering a donkey toot from a elephant tu&d....from 3-inches away. Smell? Yep. Your darn tootin'. Stink-bug-toot!
O, call a Physicians and ask if there is a cure for such foul odor and spreading dis-ease. Physician! Huh! The military and Senate Chaplain Doc says "heel" or Heal your own stinky-hateful self? okay.

I agree a tummy gets roaring ill and maybe a Persian sheikh can help? I hope. *Qur'an 94:1 sounds like a black-bible-mouth flapping some pure and holy advise...Jessy's Mother have Mercy!
..."Did We Not Expand You?" * I hope.

The O.T. scripture tucked under "evangelicals" "journalist" "popes" and even kings bush's BOO-Hood's arm-pit says, "God Loves Everybody?" Even Hagee? But tell me someone in the RWA hack-cab-site's caboodle, "Why?"
The Mr/Miss/Mrs PUBLIC DISDAIN are pressed to finagle words and fool a harmonious and benevolent Deity? Is there hope for # Ten Press? Oho! Why so slumbering good-for-nothing? Blithering idiots with screws loose and rattle like a baby-rattle brain...unHoly snoopers into lowliness, IMHO. Rattle snakes.
Who will cook some rot-onion-sop soup?
The Lieberman's "Throng"...see.
They look and think as one lame-brain that's malnourished!
Glenn, did mean "thongs" or cleavage is seen on the presidential campaign trail?
The Earth must weep?
While at it...
Please call heaven's rains from the realm where clouds burst gently, okay?
Promise? The land is thirsty and plants and humans must grow strong caliber and hearty natures. Stamina. no more blooming idiots ear muffins are needed. huh.
I've needed to grab and pinch my nose nostril holes because the whiff from charlatans, hippo's, rhinocerous's, and RWA's right-wing righteousness is pew hot-air.
I promise I'm late again. huh. Hot-day.
Be balanced and no appear drunk on H2o.
Read the post and watched the video. Great questions Glenn. The video confirms to me what I've said for a long time now. There are two roots of all evil. Money...which leads to greed, which leads to corruption. And religion, especially organized religion. Because everyone thinks they are right and everyone else is wrong. How many religious wars have we had down through time? If Lieberman likes Israel so much, he should move there.
As Glenn points out, by embracing Hagee, Lieberman is also embracing a war against Iran on “entirely religious and theological (rather than strategic or geoplitical) reasons” – it is thus a “holy war.”
When Muslims justify a war on religious grounds, it is call a jihad, and they are called radical “jihadists” and dismissed as lunatics that we can’t talk to.
Look in the mirror Joe. What you are looking at is what you claim to be fighting.

but I am glad I did not as you did a more clear and concise post than I was going to put together.
I will recommend Richard Dawkins' "The God Delusion" as an excellent discussion on the religious end of your post.
As for the money side, why do these super religious people always end up with so much money (see the Max video)? It would seem to undermine their credibility, but it never does.
Lastly, why does the nice religious man have Max thrown out for asking a tough question? Doesn't seem very Christian, but then they never do, do they?
