    Every dead Vietnamese national, regardless of their age, gender, or location at time of death, was chalked up as a "Viet Cong."

    But wait, didn't outgoing CG Pete Pace just say yesterday that trying to count bodies in Iraq as a sign of progress would be "using the wrong metric"?
