Dayligone. That use to be short for, "daylight-gone."

It was local speech for twilight or eventide...It is not in a dictionary, or maybe in search via a lexicon it can be found?

It is not yet sunrise, or "day-peep," "day-red," and this time of year it is waiting here for a "day-spring" on high. It is a charming thought that when DALIGONE gets here( sunset) there is not any reason to spend long hours basking in warm lucid day light air.

It is dayligone now, meaning, nighttime. To fix the problem and extend The Lady Day stroll-time the streets could be lit to help city merchants by burning whale-blubber-oil in hanging street lanterns till nine to ten o'clock at night. Any worst lit neighborhood anywhere wanting to boom industrialism, the local county commissioner's arranged a connection with killers of the whale fish. Big fish die for safe streets in a democracy? Kinda.

'Tetrica sunt amoenenda jocularibus.' or, [Gloomy thoughts should be made pleasant by jest.] I like a kind of wisdom that is companionable; and it is okay to fly from grating manners and from sourness. A image of a grim face haunts me.

'The sad arrogance of a gloomy face.'

'Et habet tristis quoque turba cynaedos.' or, [And buggers too are found in groups of sombre men.]

Banter here is fun. In 1990 I spent two months in Hanoi helping to build a medical clinic. Nixon/Kissinger ordered bombs to fall with no mercy upon the populated civilian sectors.

The USA's State Department approved our visit at a time when norman trade relations etc., was not allowed with The People's Committee. We 12 vets and a former doughnuts dolly were watched every step by both governments.

We did not dance or smooch with those available gals the highest levels of governments offered us. We knew our own government was 'big bro' but we had agreed to be beyond reproach and honor our commitment to our partner-vows. Wisdom is not easy to gain. It includes a attitude of nondiscrimination and real faithfulness in each current situation.

Taking care of one person's safety and well-being is to take care of our well-being. It is the mind of discrimination and separation that is the foundation of all violence and hate.

A right handed person who hammers a nail should not have a superiority complex. The banging a left thumb or little pinkie with a right-hand or vice-verso is folly. I hit my left pinko, and my left hand thumb screams, " You right-hand do a lot of harm and hurt!" Then: "I'll get a b-ONE-bronco-Buster and blow you to smithies in the name of justice."

I love the Body Politic notion that we are members one-of-another...If my pinkie hurts or vise-verse, all our little pinko's feel black and blue.

I feel the axe grinds here are good debate. I learn much. I had hardly any knowledge about Libertines and was ignorant of so much till reading here. I hope it is always civil. It can be intimidating if one well read or versed in debate wants to take human heads-off..and that is real bad voodoo and no-no because who wants to be devoured? The counterfeit "virtues" are different than our human foibles and imperfections.

:~;)< I still don't know what <<

There are no Stop/Go electric lights in some non-Industrial nation's cities. If a Western streetwalker-pedestrian pauses while "bluejay" walking, a ignorant and overly cautious window-shopper looking for a bargain bowl of 11-cents Pho-soup...May create a highway jam collision of a thousand wrecked bikes.

I am do in a P&P meeting this morn. I've said 'stuff' here as a backup...Senate Offices too, and The White House, PA District Court, sheezy...I am weary of the Doj from top-to-bottom. It be not wise to divulge more here: Thanks.

I am not going to pay some fees. With clear conscious and a decision to NO PAY can be easily misunderstood...My outstanding "fees" will go to the respectable motley group of the *Iraq Veterans Against the War.*

I don't have any idea how the day will flow. I have forgot (hint) to keep appointments on two occasions. The story goes on and on...thanks for my little testimony and what lovely little foot pinkie, hope, no get stubbed. huh.

I chatter too much here (I-problem). The Mona bail bondsman 'comment' about a "out of control" racket sure is correct (not a tennis racket, all not luv, no). The one in our county is a Big Black Cube Van with a scanty dressed bonds-lady enlarged image. She looks 8-feet tall), wearing those 'lily Abner shorts. She will come to visit in jail to bail out who? Not me. [,,,] [~.~] [delete]. (?). [OT?}.

I am sleepy. I was up way past bedtime getting a free mop-chop. The haircut looks like the lake monster figure, Black Foot? I saved $400.00.

Apologies to Mona (an inner mystery revealed)

[LWM]:I used to have a more favorable view of Cato before I found out

[Mona]:Sure you did. Right up until the last few hours in which you Googled to find Lenin or some other odious historical figure with which to link some person at Cato, in this case a guy who was discussing social security reform in 1983, and thus announce they are as much a Leninist cabal as the neocons.

Nice try. But I don't think you'd see Greenwald approvingly linking to them as relatively frequently as he does were that the case. You know, like when they issue scathing reports denouncing Bush and his theories of Executive tyranny. Glenn likes that stuff. Poor deluded fool -- you be setting him straight now, ya hear?

That was both humorous and very insightful. I did not think there were any here who saw though all those transparent tactics. I apologize to you for not knowing better; and to anyone else who saw it all along. Sorry.

Is an idea to be discredited because a few of its supporters are odious? An old question that has been asked many ways; and this tactic is very similar.

It does lead to internal inconsistencies. LWM has preached for a week that I am the the return of some ancient evil. Yet, I like Glenn's insight and read every post. so, by LWM's methodology, he should try to discredit Glenn G.

(note: For the literal minded out there --- that was a demonstration of the logic of the tactic, and not an attack on Glenn)

re: Doctrine of Pre-Emptive War

Actually, Paul's was a more comprehensive and penetrating answer. He said that the greatest evil we currently face is the "doctrine of pre-emptive war."

... Can anyone name a single greater evil in any government's tool box of satanic instruments? I'm at a loss to.

Bingo!

We executed real Nazis after WWII, and one of the main charges was preemptive war. Has everything we stood for at the Nuremberg Trials been lost? It would seem so, since Ron Paul is being hit from right and left for standing up for one of the core principles that the USA stood for back in those ancient of days.

The indictments were for:

1. Participation in a common plan or conspiracy for the accomplishment of crime against peace

2. Planning, initiating and waging wars of aggression and other crimes against peace

3. War crimes

4. Crimes against humanity

In fact, last weekend when I mentioned I supported Ron Paul, I saw several here hit the metaphorical ceiling. I conclude they like war every bit as much as the Republican crazies in this town. (they just want to pick the country)

Mona --- wow!

Mona to LWM: If not you, then who? If not now, then when?

And hurry, or next thing you know, Greenwald and Kos will decide that Bill Kristol and Michael Ledeen actually have some deeply moral and profound insights to offer to those with eyes to see.

That had to hurt! "ownage!" as the young set cries out all the time.

It seems you are on to the main tactic that LWM loves to use. It is linkage. As soon as he sees you be "for" something or in favor of someone, then it is always a simple matter to find detractors on the net of the idea or person.

Perhaps that is the reason that you, a libertarian, are the only one to say which Democrat is worth supporting even though the debates have started. since everyone sees that being "for" a thing here might bring vulgar, profane attack then they just prefer not to say. (only a hypothesis, who can tell the mind of another?)
