F**k David Brooks

Despite some good ideas, David Brooks so personally and politically wrong it's disgusting- I can't stand the guy.

Check out this recent article in the NYT that shows perfectly how the media has been bought by wannabee intellectual sellouts like Brooks:

http://select.nytimes.com/2007/05/08/opinion/08brooks.html?hp

A choice quote:

"

Before I slip totally into sceptred isle fanaticism, I should point out that it’s better to be an American Anglophile than to be British. As an American, you don’t actually have to put up with the snobbery, the cynicism and the insularity. You can choose the slice of Britain you want to admire.

The slice I was enjoying yesterday on the ambassador’s lawn, as hundreds of Washington power broker types [LIKE MYSELF] directed their rapturous attention toward Her Majesty, is the Britain that doesn’t often fall for ludicrous [NON-CONSERVATIVE?] ideas. It’s the Britain that has revitalized its economy even while France struggles, and has mostly preserved the pillars, like the monarchy, of its distinct national identity. It’s the Britain still too well bred to mention, as a few expats and Yanks did yesterday, that the Queen looks a bit shorter than Helen Mirren.

Question

Isn't it about time for David Broder to retire?

test . a old herbal cry:

The sky is blue . The coast seems clear. It's a test just to me. apologies if I knee jerked from a low-blow right and a cold smack from a left upper cut? wham? thanks mam.

OLD HERBAL CRY:

"Here's fine rosemary, sage and thyme,

Come, see my green ivy;

Here's featherfew, gilliflowers and rue,

Come, see my knotted marjoram, ho!"

A test. thanks.

One more apology to Wendell B.

After glimpsing his chapter 'Men and women in search of common ground,'...And my computer gets black mouse pointer's insignia symbol that reminds me of an impractical black menonite mercedes driving an illegal-hack trips. There ain't such a thing.

This tread will be dead soon.

If I ever jumped into a boxing match with the government, they may give me a two-front tooth out looking smile, or a black eye, or maybe a bloody nose. A good ref; would shout "hop back up before the fingers point 1+1=3?" If one has to pinch the bleeding nose to prevent drips, then..."Get back into tar roped ring, cause ya ain't knocked out yet!"

Thinking of W. Berry: In certain circumstances, the obsolescence of the body is inevitable (not the body politic), and this is acknowledged by the existence of the gym "physical fitness movement." Back in a era when women and men were physically useful as well as attractive to one another, because of a inner glow, health was considered a condition. Little conscience was given to a jog. Push ups shrivel the gonads? Physical vim came from natural work chores. The "sexual liberation" has 'we people' too sedentary and lulled flabby to serve the corporations. It's bondage.

Yeats {Yikes} saint we need to save our minds. A expert writes a cook book who never planted a plant or flower seed. Ever see how a cat buries a scat? You can't do that and nor can we expect a machine to "in a Mind" imitate a human. "Okay computer, you are going out into a garden if I must drag you by an electric black cord!" I order it. No.

The computer may die before Memorial Day? It's way pass too late if I expect to teach a computer how to do a man and lady gentle act like that.

Test. If I 'hit' a button (not a belly button) one time, and I get to see three identical post on a dead thread, I'll believe in plaing the bongo's all day instead of getting dirty. I will believe in simple miracles. 1+o=3? test? bongo's or cha cha cha, a govmint has bad hack-joksters at work? Yes.

Glenn.

Apologies.

I like to not point. It's rude. But often I respectfully think of your law-role in out times as a good human-porcupine who gets hit with a stick.

If I imagine a caricature it looks like this: Glenn Greenwood is a legal porcupine's prophet who extends his point-quills to help our world, that is mighty weary and too-long been a bit afflicted. Keep addressing the so-called powerful. Please keep the stick-beating them weak politico's back, or they would plant briar's and thistle seed in every bodies back 40-hackers-lots.

If this era doesn't end soon, the difficulties will 'come forth' too quickly for sane people's preparation. Grief can be severe and it's sick-time...I need a Miller lighter mood and drink! Thanks keep going out to the 40=firmament with those pointed quills. Thanks. I don't wish my friends to know grief, experiential. Vicarious is pain enough. Have a good day!

Sarkozy

... also argued for the government to subsidize the construction of mosques in order to encourage Islamic integration into French society.

Nowhere on the planet does "conservative" mean "radical extremist" like it does here in the USA. We are going to have to change that. Better luck next time, Shooter.
