They were sure saying some scary stuff regarding Iran last night. It was like a "who can be the biggest hawk without being a hawk" contest.
McCain freaks me out in that creepy clown kind of way. After watching McCain speak I was no longer able to let my imagination dictate how a fortune telling automaton from bizzaro world would operate, there was one right there on the stage.
And those questions you submitted were good, too good. It is pretty obvious that we can't have serious "debate" on TV, we are only allowed to play slow pitch soft ball.
Why didn't they discuss the current strategy being used in IRAQ while debating in the Reagan Library? On one hand we have a man whose legacy is highly correlated with the quote, "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!", yet on the other hand our current strategy in Iraq as well as the foreign policy of our predominant "ally" in the middle east are largely based on building walls. Perhaps it would all be just a little bit too ironic? I imagine Reagan would be all about building "security walls" all over Baghdad and playing Iraq-a-mole.
Speaking of our 10,000% always right, undisputed super-best friends in the whole wide world, it was nice of Tom Tancredo to let us all know who really controls our foreign policy in the middle east with one gleaming insight. An insight that showed me how much the lobby machine influences a politician's thoughts and actions. Tancredo stumbled all over himself and looked like a deer in the headlights trying to find a way to talk around the "Israel wants bombs Iran" question. He mumbled some politcal platitudes but in the end he made sure to reassure everyone that regarding FOREIGN policy he is nothing but an AIPAC stooge and will do what he is told. Who cares about the borders if you're going to be in Iran fighting Israel's preemptive wars for them, Mr. Tancredo? Nothing but a one trick pony with a lame leg. What a joke he made himself out to be with his shiny silk tie.
Tancredo doesn't believe in evolution, I wonder if he is a fan of the Left Behind series? I wonder what his take is on the rapture?
