    Propaganda and media "access"

Just to add to this, don't forget about various "9/11 widows." Even though they and anything related to 9/11 were considered "off-bounds" except for something for the Bush administration to crassly exploit in the propaganda wars, the minute some of them got off message and started demanding investigations into 9/11, they have to send their vicious attack dog Ann "RepubliCANT" Coulter on them. Take a good look, because that's unfortunately Jessic Lynch's future right there. Why, I'm sure Coulter and her ilk are just foaming at the mouth right now waiting for the chance to slander their former "heroes" (oh look, Elephantman already got a head start on the attacks, while pretending to "agree" with Glenn. Clever!)

And in regards to journalist, anonymous sources and "access", have any of you considered that maybe they they get off on NOT revealing anything to us (we're the plebians, remember?) For example in last month's Overpriced Catalogue...I mean Men's Vogue there was a feature on Brian Williams sanwiched between the 9,000 ads. (I can't find it online, unfortunately) It began with Mr. Williams joking around with the Pres, but since Bush is a moron he Says Something He Shouldn't, his handlers/thinkers swear Bri-guy to secrecy and he does with a big grin. This is all, of course told with beeming pride by Brian to highlight his mad Journalism skillz (see, the prez is his homeboy and he can keep his secrets. They tight like that, yo!) Likewise I wonder how many of those "anoymous" sources are also dishing about what's REALLY going on in the administration ("off the record", of course) with the confidence that it won't be reported because, hey, those journalist LIKE being in "the loop." It's what makes them special, that access to privillaged knowledge. These "secrets" then become like a velvet rope that only let the "important" people (beltway insiders) in.
