Realname's real name
The only reason Hersh wrote about the govt's very real plans to attack Iran was to try to keep it from happening, so if you want to pretend he was wrong because it hasn't happened, I'm sure he'd be happy to make the trade.
Does that mean it won't happen in the future? Unfortunately not. The evil men behind the war in Iraq are still running the show. They've lost the power to fool people into letting them do whatever they want, but they're loss of power is making them desperate. Desperate people are dangerous, especially when they're as stupid and evil as these assholes.
I'm sure it must hurt your ego to realize your heroes are complete idiots, especially now that everybody knows it, but lashing out at those of us who never bought into your gang's insane plans for world domination just makes you look like a frustrated tyrant. Yes, your guys turned out to be incompetent and evil, but falling back on "just because you guys got it right doesn't mean you're not just as bad as we are," shows that you still don't get it.
Hersh will continue to let the whole world know what these evil slimeballs are up to, and as long as he and others keep the light turned on, the rodents in the Whitehouse won't be able to pull any fast ones. Nobody with a functioning moral compass believes Bush is fighting the Enemies of God. I realize you think we need to find a Final Solution to the Muslim Problem, but God won't be with you on that one, Adolph.

Unbelievable
I spent a few hours checking out that bizarre INSANE website, and after I got done I had to take a shower. I still feel dirty. I guess RealName's got a place to go for company.
It's hard to comprehend how people can use language like that and not hear echoes of "the ones who've gone before." How can they possibly ignore the sound of genocide creeping into their dialogue. You'd think people would catch themselves when they start describing other nations, races, religions in terms that so recently in human history caused so much evil.
But there it is, I guess. Hopefully enough people will see what these freaks are plotting and put a stop to it before they manage to do any serious damage. I registered at the SANE site and wanted to say something there, but so far I don't even know how to approach it. I'm guessing they'll be doing a lot of careful screening the next few days.
I need another shower.

Fraud Guy--Cassandra
I just saw your latest post, and I think we have the same take on it. I'm guessing the fact that it hasn't happened is at least partly due to the fact that it was exposed in print. Not a bad way to be thought of as "wrong."

I have to ask....
Have you ever considered what it would mean if we made a serious effort to feed all our people, and educate more of them, or to begin the design, development and construction of an infrastructure which would allow human beings and the rest of the earth's species to live in relative harmony?
Perhaps you've noticed that nobody in America starves and education through high school is free. That should make you happy, but for some reason, doesn't.
But I'm wondering what infrastructure would allow the earth's species to live in relative harmony? Are you describing something physical or political? Or magical?

Ask and you shall be answered...
Shooter242...I have to ask....
Perhaps you've noticed that nobody in America starves and education through high school is free.
What does any parent notice right off about this statement?
Thank God! Shooter has no kids and has not passed on those stellar genes! If school is free, I want all that money back. Tuition might be free, but school costs to poor parents add up (Perhaps Shooter is a nudist and his kids went to school nekkid).
Shooter... Nobody in America starves... to death... yet!
I think this sums it up nicely so I'll post it and add the link.

You can find the link to the WaPo article there.
On Thursday, the Washington Post ran an article titled "Some Americans Lack Food, but USDA Won't Call Them Hungry."
The article's first sentence:
The U.S. government has vowed that Americans will never be hungry again. But they may experience "very low food security."
Imagine! No more hunger!

Did it happen today
Did it happen today? It's 657 here on the west coast?
Now?
How about now?
Now?
Now?

Now?
Now?
C'mon, let the clouds part and tell me the truth?
Now?
How about now?

Sy Hersh never predicted a ground invasion of Iran.
That's what an invasion is, numbnutz. Ground forces. We can't do it. He knows that, even if you don't, numbnutz. We can use naval and air forces to blockade and bomb Iran. I'm sure these clowns want to. We may never know how close we came for some years, and it could still happen if we are playing games again like the dangerous game of nuclear jostling we engaged in with the Soviet Union on the high seas during the Cold War. See a book called Blind Man's Bluff, numbnutz. It is mostly about the use of subs for espionage, but it does go into some of it. And STFU. You are teh stoopid and it burns.

Shooter should become a better girl scout and guide for America?
Flashback: thanks to Patrick M. Reynolds.
Juliette Gordon Low was respectable. "Why" I'll tell you why, shooter242.
She started a troop of girl scouts with good intent and she reasoned, even while her physical bodily handicap-Deaf, could have made another person wish to 'shoot' a bad doctor? She was from Scotland. Many people were hungry, poor, and suffered then too. Instead of letting the girls go to work in Then/Them day's sweat shops (g-8-creeps), she had them raise grass-fed, and healthy scratch grain supplements, of good plump barnyard chickens.
The farm girls could stay home and remain happy, safe, and wise. The girls sold eggs, attended sport events, and furnished hunting lodges with baked foods, and egg-salad sandwiches? Julliet came back to America and she settled her model plan that worked in the struggling American South. She called them not British or Islamofascist, but American Girl Scout Guides and Troops.
The good girls planted Victory Gardens, filled coffee canteens at the railroad stations, and they then assisted nurses during the Spanish Flue pandemic of 1918.
The (Boy Scouts too) developed a 'no child' left behind, sorta, opportunity to develop self reliance (not nasty abrasive-ego-rugged, self-serve, selfish, individualism's) and resourcefulness to pursue happy and fulfilling lives.
Juliette Low is dead. A memorial to her is a bronze medallion laid into the sidewalk on the way to the White House. It's on the "Points of Light Pathway" near the stolen house on Penn Ave. Hint.
