Brevity
Brevity is a virtue, Glenn. I admire your work, but your posts are too verbose. I think you would have more impact -- and more people would read you -- if you could figure out how to get your message across in fewer words.

In-depth
Glenn, just wanted to say, for my part, I like reading through your posts, regardless of length. Too much good information in there. In a world drunk on media dominated by the soundbite and the headline and the buzzword, your posts are a refreshing, and thorough, tonic of topical analysis, which so often contrasts with the utter lack of analysis from many other outlets.
Thanks again for all your work.
No kings,
Robert

@ Yet snother David

Heh, indeedy.
</snark>
Now buzz off and see if you can find someone that does a better job with less words. I'm sure some folks can come up with some good suggestions for you.
Cheers,

Amen
Brevity may be the soul of wit, and all that, but I for one am tired of the bumpersnicker approach to what ails us. Yet Another David, please stick to TV morning shows. The rest of us couldn't be happier with what Glenn is doing here. Chacun à son goût works for us; perhaps it'll work for you as well.

I agree with ABC
Glenn is emphasizing the wrong words in the quotes he's using and he's completely misunderstood this entire issue. What the White House was confirming or denying is completely irrelevant unless they're wrong and/or lying, which they weren't. The White House always denied it, the White House was right all along.
The story is the presence of bentonite which implies the substance used was military-grade and was obtained from a government supply with only three possible sources. Initial tests suggested this was the case, and that was a big deal. ABC reported it. Further tests showed this was not the case, and that meant it was not such a big deal. ABC reported this, too. It doesn't read to me that ABC is trying to imply that the White House confirmed the bentonite at any point in time, but then again, I read pretty well. It sounds as though some of you are attempting to fault ABC for your own inabilities to understand their reporting. Pretty lame.

Jump back, Jack
Jack agrees with ABC. Duly noted. And now a word from our sponsors....

This was the handy work of the neocons/Israel Lobby
The neocons and their buddies in the Israel Lobby did an amazing job of manipulating the media using made-up stories. They knew that while these stories could be denied later, the damage would have already been done. They also knew that if they had enough of these stories flooding the airwaves all the time, they could create a public perception about Iraq that would make the American people support the war.
This was one of the greatest public opinion manufacturing exercises in human history!

Thank you and can we move the Greenwald Blog closer to the top level on Salon page
I'm posting this because today due to the Paglia crap and some artsy, folksy, stories the Greenwald Blog was difficult to find on the page. Now letting user driven factors - like how many posts are generated? Move subjects to the top is good in principal but perhaps those of us who are premium users should have a greater influence over the weighting used to push the articles to the top.
I note a pattern that more premium Salon folks post to WarRoom Broadsheet, and Greenwald - and those are also what I look for. The other stuff is fun but they should not be the 'headlines'.
Yours,
Di
Thank you Glenn Greenwald - I'm glad you are doing the work to make sure this gets out where people can think about it.

another thought:
White House: Trust us, this time the strategy will work.
ABC News: Trust us, this time our sources are right.
Both seem to come, not from reality, or even with thought about context and history, but more with an overwhelming sense of righteousness. Expected perhaps from political ideologues. Scary from media.
