He went to my website, quoted me, and callled me repulsive, so I responded...

Obvioously, you haven't seen it from my perspective. I see the sublte subversion of our values in many things, in kids movies, kids books, public tv, in the public schools. They are forcing this view of what I consider sin, as education and tolerance of other people. This is what I object to. If you want to act or behave a certain way in your own home, I don't care but as soon as I have to start filtering what my kids read from their school because they are being taught about homosexuality, that's where I began to realize the problem. It is a slow sublte phenomenon and by calling those who object "repulsive" only serves to feed on a person's guilt about not wanting to hate anyone. That's the problem, I can't talk about my objection to homosexuality because society has succesfully equated that with objecting to the person which in my view is ridiculous. I may be a recovering from any sort of problems yet I am NOT that problem. It is that distinction of the person and the acts. We have free will to chose how we live, even if you have tendencies to like the same sex, you can chose to not give into your desires.

Whether you know it or not, you are a homophobe, and I feel pity for you. I also told you that you weren't up to this blog, and its become evident by what you posted to shooter. Glenn did not visit your blog, and did not call you repulsive, he called your views repulsive, and they are. I suggest you find a new playground for your rants.

  • What the hell?

Glenn Greenwald writes an article on the MSM's coverage of Nancy Pelosi's trip to Syria and now, as if by magic, we are talking about homosexuality. Why stop there? We could talk about public education, taxes, women's rights, global warming, immigration, Ford vs. Chevy, onions or any of a large number of other fascinating topics all on this one thread.

  • I'm Trying To Write About The Treason of Nixon and Reagan, And Now We've Got A Homophobe Infestation!!!

They'll do anything to distract attention, now won't they?

We've seen it from your perspective dude. It was called Nazi Germany. They cleaned up the degenerates real good.

We, however, are Americans. So why don't you just pack up your family and go back to Nazi Germany where you belong?

Oh, right, it's not there anymore.

Well, then, may I suggest Iran? They're struggling there, too. But the government is 100% with you. They're all about purity. "Big time," as our #2 war criminal would say.

Well, in fairness I started all this by pointing out that a trip to Jim C's blog was illuminating of his mindset, motives and level of analysis -- and then another reader here further explored the blog and posted Jim C's atavistic views on homosexuality. Jim himself did not introduce the subject.

But he is clearly a Xian Zionist, Bush supporter and all-around high Right-Wing Authoritarian. He is almost certainly among those for whom reasoned dialogue is futile and can only frustrate any attempting it, and it would detract from more productive conversation here.

  • RE: JimC

"I believe with all my being that homosexuality is wrong, unnatural, immoral, and perverted. When I see homosexual people proudly displaying their “gayness” it feels painful to me."

Sometimes tumescence can be painful. If your symptoms persist for more than four hours, please call your doctor.(Or Ted Haggert)

  • What is wrong with you people?

I came here posted a comment about the Logan Act, then got attacked for doing so, then you went to my website, came back here quoted me, and called my views repulsive and then when I respond, you gripe that *I changed the subject????*, you people are either insane or genius, I leaning towards the former.

It would have been better to not even had linked my site. Then no one would have been able to muddle the topic....

  • Clintons went to "St. Thomas in British Virgin Islands?"

I don't think so. St. Thomas is one of the three islands of the US Virgin Islands; not part of the British Virgin Islands. The gossipy tale needs some geographic reorientation.

  • @JimC

and then when I respond, you gripe that *I changed the subject????*

I already pointed out that you did no such thing. Chalk it up to people not following the thread flow properly.

The bigger problem is that you are operating from a mindset that is as authoritarian as it is simplistic and driven by whatever memes your fellow authoritarians are pushing at the moment -- which currently are preposterous fixations on Nancy Pelosi's head gear and...unsophisticated discussions of the Logan Act. And, you did link/invite to your site, some of us looked and found your views on homosexuality, which are truly vile as well as ridiculous.

  • Re: What is wrong with you people?

Surely this isn't your first attempt to comment at a lefty site is it? The reponses you've received are actually more civil than you might get at other spots. Being a Christian, I'm sure you're familiar with Daniel and the lion's den? Welcome to the jungle.

In addition, being a conservative Christian is one of the greater sins of the leftist world. If you want to comment on blogs such as this be prepared to turn the other cheek, and remember that missionaries do well to remember where they are, and how to address the natives.

  • @ shooter242

So what do we have here? A closed eye to the Legislative branch usurping function of the Executive? Where is the clarion call of denouncing crimes(Logan Act)committed outside Constitutional limits? I call for investigations, impeachments, trials, and exposure of heinous actions.

Well, they would, you know, but they're busy working on the James Wilson indictments....

    ROFLMSO....

    Cheers,
