    Carmody ad others

    Carmody, I couldn't agree with you more.

    Looks mean Nothing. Despite that, too many here have nearly the same hangups on physicality as the freepers Glenn correctly skewers. Being telegenic obviously helps someone get elected and that's real but sad.

    Change of subject

    Past military service is currently a negative for many progressives. I've read how veterans are different; too authoritarian. That's complete hogwash.

    If we elect people with combat experience I can pretty much assure you they'll only send others into combat with the greatest relectance and only upon the greatest real threat. If you've been there you don't want to go back and you certainly don't wish the experience upon others.
