Why would any rational person listen to Robert Kagan?

Ummm.. Glenn...

Is it just me or is the Robert Kagan post appearing here twice, once before and once after the Taranto post?

Double posting

Is it just me or is the Robert Kagan post appearing here twice, once before and once after the Taranto post?

It's appearing twice. I'm trying hard to get rid of it. It just won't disappear. I'm ready to borrow a baseball bat. There is something wrong with the Salon system today.

Why the Disconnect?

Clearly, the American people are (and have been) far ahead of the pundits, our elected "leaders" and the MSM regarding the situation in Iraq. The question I have is: How is it that the so-called "intelligentsia" can be so far behind the curve on such an important issue? Are they really so jaded as to believe whatever the "experts" say regardless of the "facts" on the ground? Colbert has said that "Truth has a well known liberal bias," but the last I looked, "truth" was still defined as "indisputable fact." The "unwashed masses" apparently still believe in "truth," while our elected leaders and the elites of our political discourse continue to live in "Fantasy-land." Until our "leaders" get a handle on the wisdom of the American people, we will continue down the primrose path to our own ultimate destruction - with idiots like Kristol, Kagan and their minions of "ditto-head lemmings" blissfully leading us over the precipice!

Somewhere in the barn is a 'higgedly-piglet- American Slugger.

It's yours. Wash the swallow bird-dew off, and it's your, a # 33 wt-in. American Slugger.

It is of the highest 'pleasure' to be here on a ASH-BAT giggled-piggledy day. It's a good groin-groan. Strained hamstring pain goes away, eventually with some peanuts and applesauce with cinnomon snacks.

"Man is a plaything of the gods." w.t. would agree, 'quaenam ista jocandi.' yea...[what a ferocious way of jesting]

Nature bequeathed us this day. The most disturbing of war activities must be stopped. It's either, "mad or wise," man and beast, and we are 'talking' to depraved beast who need to be brought down before they can 'see' (dumb-blind) to tie their shoestrings first. Then, once off first-base, if 'they' wish, they can be brought up a little to 'round second. It's a 'We' (wee-wee) with no mouse in the back-pocket? I speak for myself (yes) and picture certain craven-mad frail-men who claim they are 'brave.' No.

They need to be reflective and apologize. The 'ole-time confessions of sincere repentant-sorrow, is the only escape route from break-bat-insanity. A suave neo-loud-mouth, has ugly legs like a peacock. It' time to shed some pride and get real humbled. We need to 'dust-off' homeplate. It's time for truth to be served on a Silver Plater. And.....

...'ridentem dicere verum Quid veta?'

In other Words,....

...[what can stop us telling the (honest) truth with a with a kind laugh? To Not see obvious truth is to be afraid to see a statue of Justice in our midst. REMEMBER the other A.G.'s false congressional-modesty?

'We' wish to look with unveiled eyes naked Justice. She needs No cloak to wear. No drapery today! yes. Thanks.

It's written, that we eat and drink as the beast, but these war activities do not, DO NOT, hamper us from expressing our-self in behalf of our fellow-humanities, decrepid Souls. Nepesh!

I believe, as Plato says, This is pure good pleasure to say these truths. We are to become all equal. Many miss the 'mark-do-not,' and most don't even aim. Bull's-eye-'hamartia. "Perfect"-shot. Thanks.

Sorry Glenn. I only read half the sentence.

That's how rumors and wars get started. I'll go get my extra-large size Hoyt Wilhelm catcher's mitt and safety-cup for you know what? No. No no wine.

It's a cup so the catcher don't get a sprained pinko, smashed groin, or have one of those awful painful groaning groin-whine times. 'um smarts...ouch. ugh. dare think of it. No.
