Is "Howard Kurtz" a software program?

    Sadly, no

Let me see if I understand: Howie Kurz consistently reveals himself to be a RightWingNut hack enabler whilst pretending to a sort of even handed non-partisianship in his WaPo OPINION column.

Do I have you guys right? That's it? Your best shot?

Then allow me to ask :

    What Is Your Effin Point?!

Is it his hypocrisy that so ruffles your feathers? Off hand I can think of several dozen larger and at least as prominent targets, both recto and verso, heads and tails.

Holy Hockeysticks this sort of thing is enshrined in American commercial law; it is called "puffery" and the practice is not patented by Kurz.

Does "Fair and Balanced" strike a note?

    How about "Compassionate Conservative"?

Is it that he is so transparent in his hypocrisy? Well, gee... ditto on the feathers.

He writes OPINION. He advertises thatr he writes OPINION!

To go on and on and on because you object to politics coloring his opinions is a bit like screaming at dust bunnies about their contraceptive practices.

Do me, do us all a huge favor and cite Howie Kurz's objectivity pledge about his OPINION column.

While we await our shaken martinis in hell isn't it vastly more interesting that it is his corporate overlords who are actually responsible for what you so object to? He only writes the words to the tunes they call. How has shifting control of the WaPo affected their Editorial and News policies? We all know that it is the man behind the curtains that really matter.

But better, what of the breathless hypocrisy of HRC and Edwards? They actually strike me as being far more central to the current American debate and anal;ysis worthy by the progressives they hope to court.

At least Kurz hasn't the gall to think himself worthy of the Oval Office.
