Hamas was freely and openly elected, most likely do the corruption and bullying of Fatah (and before you characterize that as typical Arab fratricide, read about how Jews treated each other in THEIR camps). American and Israel then trained Fatah, giving it weapons, so it would reassert itself in Gaza. Hamas got wind of it and preempted the preemption.

It's not the first time Israel fomented trouble. It suckered Georgia into attacking Russians during the Olympics. Russia, like Hamas, kicked ass.

Far from it. All Israel does is bully others. Of course, it only does so only if the victim is weaker. Israelis are cowards. They are chihuahuas acting like pitbulls, hoping America will always supply it.

They are in for a surprise. More and more American Jews are disavowing Israel. More and more see Seinfeld is not Sharon. Whatever safety they once though Israel could provide for post-WWII Jews, they see it's endangering Jews everywhere.

Germans had a final solution, too, to its self-defined "problems." Sooner or later Israel's neighbors will get superior weapons from Russia, China, etc. Most of those countries have histories unkind to Jews. At some point Israel might use nukes. So long as they take themselves out in the process, tant pis. More likely, longer range guided missiles will knock Israelis off their pedestals. Arabs have taken hit after hit and keep going. Jews once did that, too, ironically when they had little power. Now that they have a state with nukes, they are soft. A few rockets killing a couple thousand Jews in Israel will cause the country to collapse.

Then next time Israel attacks Lebanon, watch for those rockets to be fired. In fact, some might come during THIS operation, too.

Hopefully Hamas will pull a few rabbits out of his hat before this "fun little war" is over. Don't be surprised if the world cheers if the IDF gets routed.

Obama is untested. Perhaps he will be Bush III per Israel. But maybe not. All it will take is him STARTING an honest dialogue about the Mideast. As more and more non-neocon "ordinary" Americans hear about how Israel was actually founded, learn about the many and ongoing atrocities it's committed, the demise of Israel begins.

Americans, though often ill-informed, are basically a good people. They sympathize with the underdog. When they start hearing about Israeli cruelty the tide will turn. When they learn how much money they've given to that ungrateful nation, look for them to pull the plug.

It is Israel that never misses an opportunity to refuse peace. It is Israel that had many, many, many chances to do the right thing. It's always chosen war and killing Arabs. It's sealed it's own fate. It has cried "wolf!" and "antisemitism" and "we're fighting terrorism" one too many times. The myths and mists surrounding it are disappearing. The Holocaust is losing its impact. To generations raised on splatter films, Holocaust movies seem tame. Plus most Jews have successfully assimilated into other lands. It is Israel's arrogance that is jeopardizing their lives...not to mention world peace.

Just like the Wehrmacht "left" the Warsaw ghetto and gave Jews "6 million" chances to get with the pogrom, er, program, too.

Israel moved settlers from Gaza to the West Bank.

It then sealed Gaza's borders.

It starved the Gazan population, killed commerce, uprooted trees, bombed power plants, "bravely" made raids dressed as Arabs to kill Hamas members during the truce, flew jets and drones to keep the Palestinians under surveillance and sleepless, etc. In short, Israel acted as humanely as Germans did to Warsaw Jews.

Israel bombed the plant Palestinians had run themselves. It wanted to profit from the misery it caused. Like the soldier who robbed ghetto Jews, making them pay for German clothes.

Jews murdered their own kids at Masada...in broad daylight!

They also led each to concentration camps, then into gas chambers. They sold each other out for bread. And volunteered to drag out chamber dead to pull gold teeth. So who are Israelis to judge anyone? With the 4th most powerful army in the world and the mindless/endless support of the world's lone super power, they've chosen to be ugly and inhumane brutes.

So, what's new?

Freed from Egypt by Yaweh, they resorted to idolatry, and were forced to wander the desert for 40 years. Such are those who hold themselves up to the world as exemplars.

The danger Israel never considers is that the more horrifically it acts, the more likely it is people will wonder if Goebbels wasn't right. They will ask how a people spared Holocaust death could form a country that acted as evilly as German propagandist said they would.

Israelis claim to be more moral than others due to Jews' historical suffering. Then they get angry when the world holds them to the higher standard they claim to abide by while acting worse than Cossacks,

Germany was able to do what it did because it also controlled media. Today, Israel's actions are broadcast to the world despite Israel banning reporters. Moreover, the Internet allows Youtube access for those who might not see Al-Jazeera, etc.

Americans are tired of war. They will soon face an ever-more troubling economy. They aren't going to want to give money to a country that prefers war to peace. Look for China and Russia to help Syria and Iran and outmaneuver America. Then we'll see how tough Israel talks.

What happens if/when Russia sends a warship to deliver aid to Palestinians? What happens when China gives Hamas missiles, becoming heroes to millions of Muslim tired of being abused and humiliated? What happens when Israel gets boycotted and becomes one huge ghetto?
