  • The real aweful truth is EatingRaul is a propagandist

EatingRaul Black basketball players laying professionally in israel are looked at as prize monkeys.

Right, that explains why Israel brought in the Ethiopian Beta Israel community, because Israel is so racist they just needed to bring in 100,000 black Africans.

Arabs, including Israeli born citizens are considered to be sub-human:

By a small minority of Israelis, I'm sure that's the case. It doesn't represent the majority by any means.

the k-12 grade schools are segregated and an Arab trying to get accepted to an israeli university has a slim chance of getting in.

That's because Arab schools are taught in Arabic, not Hebrew. Arabs can go to non Arabic schools, and some do. But most want to learn in their own language.

An Arab man dating a Jewish woman puts his life at risk.

His life is only at risk if he tries to convert, and then it's not at risk from Jews.

Another manifestation of how racist the Israeli society is can be found at the infamous West Bank check-points.

Racist, or paranoid? Checkpoints are like a person asking for gas money to get home because they are stranded. You want to help and be nice, but far too often, they simply want your money and are running a scam. After awhile, you harden to their pleas, and people who actually need a hand are punished because those who are scamming.

Suicide bombers have made it past checkpoints, pretending to need medical care and other acts of perfidy.

Even those who accept the security justification for the check=points, would be horrified at the sadistic and humiliating manner Palestinians are often treated when attempting to go through them.

Absolutely, the checkpoints should be better, and they certainly don't endear people who are subject to them.

That said, the TSA sucks and is humiliating as well, not to the same level, but the risk of actual violence is much lower as well.

The problem is the TSA, like Israeli's checkpoints, is that nobody wants to be the person who let the terrorist/bomber get past, so inane rules end up getting applied, often these rules are at odds with actual security even, but the fear of failure is the driving factor.

That's not much of a consolence to a student who ends up missing exams in the West Bank, but there are rational reasons other than out right racism.

  • Perhaps you haven't seen Jewish people help no Jews, is because you're an Asshole?

Steele The First I see it all the time. Jews only help other Jews, to hell with everybody else.

Oddly, I see Jews help non-Jews all the time. To the same extent I see Catholics help non-Catholics, and I've never seen any religious connotation to Jewish aid.

"Never again" means never again to Jews. How many millions of dollars went to building yet another Holocaust museum during the past 20 years, while genocides were occuring around the world?

And Jewish groups not only spoke out, they sent aid to places like Rwanda during the Genocide. While most of the World lay silent, Jewish organization pleaded for the World to help, and they sent aid directly.

That you don't know this is because you are an ass. People don't help you because you are unlikeable.

If I were Jewish, I wouldn't want to help you with our attitude either.

You are the poster child of modern Jew hating.

Steele The FirstReverse discrimination in the publishing, media, entertainment, and financial industries.

They old "Jews control everything" you even managed to sneak banking in there. You sound like Julius Streicher himself.

They just don't give a shit about anybody but their own. And right now, they own the airwaves. They are on TV and in the papers everyday. Own up.

Next time throw in a little Hitler was right, so the fall can be complete.

If you are a Jew and reading this, look into it. I think it's a cultural problem, and it makes people dislike Jews in general. You want anti-Semitism to go away? Then tell your fellow powerful Jews to quit being such dicks.

No, racism there on your part. I'm sure you can be objective in reviewing Israeli actions. *rolleyes*

Pretty much all that's missing now is saying Jews use the blood of non Jews in their ceremonies, then your repetition of Jew Hating rhetoric would be complete.

Unlike you, I lived in Israel for many years and served in the IDF. I witnessed the racism, the state terrorism and the racism induced sadism at military check-points first hand. Even strict searches for weapons can be conducted without humiliating the searched. What does spitting on men in front of their wives and kids, forcing them to dance or calling them faggots and goat fuckers in front of friends and family have to do with a security check? Go paddle your Zionist/neoconpropagand elsewhere you asshole.

  • dick dworkin

That is exactly the point, the equivalent choice shouldn't be imposed on anyone. I agree with you that Israeli jews would be crazy to allow themsleves to be ruled by arabs.

And given the way they have been treated by the Zionists Palestinians would be crazy to submit to rule by those Zionists.

I grew up in an Apartheid society and I have pretty good eye for what such societies look like, Israel looks that way to me.

Let's not forget that Israelis elected a terrorist as their Prime Minister, I think that pretty well shows how they really feel about terrorism as long as they are the one benefiting from it.

  • And given the way they have been treated by the Zionists Palestinians would be crazy to submit to rule by those Zionists

which is exactly why they have to split the territory between them and have two separate states, BUT this will not happen until the Jewish state can live free from attack, however ineffectual.

  • EatingRaul and what did I agree with you on?

    -- EatingRaul

Like most of your ilk, you deliberately try to see things with as negative a view towards Israel as possible. I really don't care if you say you served in the IDF or not.

I agreed with you the checkpoints suck, but if you actually served, you'd know they are manned mostly by young people, and you'd also know that there's a pressure at the check points.

People, and young people especially, tend to respond to pressure with inappropriate responses. Notice, I even stated before that such can be counter productive to security.

Nobody should be spit on, or humiliated in any way, but people should also not strap bombs to their bodies and blow people up.

I've advocated having older people at checkpoints, they are less likely to engage in that activity, but I don't exactly have any pull with the IDF. It would behoove them to do so, since just like when American soldiers commits such acts, it undermines pretty much everything that is positive.

I can understand why someone subject to that is full of anger and wants to strike back, I can also understand how it got to that point.

That's where we differ, you have fallen into seeing only one side.

To you Israeli society is racist, despite the acceptance of tens of thousands of black Africans.

I'm not a fan of how Israeli society treats its Arab members, but I also understand that a great many view them as a third column.

As I've said before, the basic issue is one of trust, which was building, and the extremists on both sides are doing what they can to reduce trust.

That said, no Jew lives in the Palestinian areas, except as a captive. It's more Judenrein than even Hitler achieved, and while Arabs in Israel are certainly second class citizens, they are at least citizens.

If Jew or Muslim could freely travel in both areas without fear, the whole area would be better off.
