Why Israelis support the Gaza offensive

Israel's post-traumatic war is not just about stopping Hamas rockets, but about repairing reputations -- and erasing the stain of failure.

    My dear Cabdriver,

"(Admittedly, I suppose the Jews living in the present nation of Israel could all pack up and leave- and if that's someone's personal answer to this problem, it would be clarifying for the purposes of further discussion if the people holding that opinion made their views explicit.)"

WEll, I suppose that is me. The Jews can and should stay, but Zionist Jews who insist on playing Nazi, or still have to work out WW II games, those who think that bombing civilians is justified, who get off on oppression and militarism, have got to go.

America is crazy enough to take them all and not even notice the increase in rancor, religious zealotry or insanity.

People who do not want to get along with their neighbors and think that waging war on them is OK should move elsewhere.

If it were not for the money to be made by the war industry, peace would have happened a long time ago.

Now the alternative is get rid of all the Palsetinians or give them equal armaments and leet them both provide the arms industry with massive profits until the end of time itself. We have had 60 years of this and there is no end in site and no desire for an end. How long before it escalates and destroys us all with a nuclear exchange?

    KLAATU BARADA NIKTO!

Guess why they changed the them of the movie remake to ecology rather than war?

They are that corrupt and evil.

War is what they are selling and death is the prize for the kids.

Until this latest atrocity I still held out hope for Israel. Now it is a lost cause.
