Sinnard, I'll dial it back if you will

I'm willing to have a discussion without epithets. Are you?

I explained the situation the way I see it. You see it differently, and believe it or not, I understand your position. It doesn't help the dialogue to ascribe evil intentions to your opponent. That's what both the Israelis and the Palestinians do, and why we've had 60 years of this mess.

We didn't get into WWII until we were terrorized by Japan, because the cost in American lives was unacceptable to us, but the cost in Jewish, Gypsy, Homosexual, the mentally retarded, and Jehovah's Witnesses' lives was acceptable. Do you feel good about that? Does the fact that I believe we should have entered the war sooner mean that I don't care for my fellow Americans?

You really need to back off from that line of argument, it only demeans yourself.
