Let's give "Blue Dogs" the boot

Pushing conservative Democrats out of Congress could help the party stand up to the GOP.

    Greenwald is right, sort of.

To those who criticize Greenwald for seemingly putting ideology over policy, I say if you don't fix the party's ideology (i.e. boot out the blue dogs), then you will NEVER achieve good policy.

I come from Australia where the concept that sections of one party might think and act like their rivals is unheard of. The same is largely true in Europe. It's called opposition. If the US had any real opposition Emperors Bush and Cheney would be indited for crimes even Nixon wouldn't have contemplated.

Unfortunately the Democratic party is not just a kennel-full of blue dogs (and bitches), but cowards like Nancy Pelosi who have the power to pursue and destroy the men who have defiled the Constitution. Democrats acting like Republicans? I mean WTF? What does it take to impeach this scum, the worst "administration" in memory?

Are Democrats so afraid of a fight that they are willing to let Bush/Cheney rule like royalists? Undoubtedly.

If Obama should lose - and most people on this blue marble are hoping not - then the American Tragedy will be complete. And gutless Democrats can lay claim to co-authorship.
