Cheers Renegade Iconoclast!
I don't think that's sexist. Getting off on words and ideas- that's hot!
Alas, you called it right, I'm spoken for. Happily married :)
-
@jeffersonian
Ah, so your praise of AKA Smith is supposed to give you cover while you resume trashing me? Pretty transparent, loaded with guile. Those who condemn hatred while practicing it are known as hypocrites, I believe.
-
@renegade
So who said I was voting for McCain? You know something I don't know?
Also, it's interesting to learn that I've been a 'concern troll' for over 40 years. You'd think I would've found a new hobby in all that time.
-
VictimTex
Throw a pity party and invite yourself as the guest of honor.
-
No, you're not a concern troll, KateTex
Just a troll. Allow me to explain the difference. A concern troll pretends to be on the side of the people they're arguing against, but they're just "concerned" that that person may be on the wrong track. You, however, lose all your concern troll street cred, and just move into plain old troll territory, when you post crap like this:
At this point, absolutely nothing in my conscience tells me I have any obligation at all to vote for Obama should he become the nominee. I don't believe him much of the time, nor do I believe in him, or even like him. You can call that racism; I call it my right to make a judgment based on the available evidence.
You seem to forget the past 8 years. 8 LONG years of Republican lock-step voting, abuse of executive power, nomination of reactionary "federalists", cronyism, corruption of the constitution, and other treasonous crimes that have been perpetrated by the Bush administration. Furthermore, I'm only 31, but it seems I'm more familiar with Republican rule than you are. Every single Republican in the last 50 years has saddled us with debt (currently 30k per USA citizen), gotten us into pointless wars, and furthered the divide between rich and poor. If that isn't reason enough to vote for someone who professes progressive ideals, even if you are skeptical, nothing is.
In case you can't tell, I'm skeptical as hell of your (allegedly progressive) candidate. I see her as a typical, DLC, "Democrat," long on promises and short on delivery, like her husband. But will I vote for her if she pulls off her miracle? YOU BET YOUR ASS I WILL! We can't afford McCain. McCain is the END of our country. You think it's hyperbole? Go ahead with your clowning. Vote for McCain, or refuse to vote for Obama, it's really the same thing. I will move to Vancouver, and cry out to the winds, and pray for you all.
-
renegade
Unfortunately Vancouver won't be nearly far enough in the event that the shit jumps off, which it certainly will if we end up with McSame.
Me, I'm scoping out Belize.

Is anyone not drinking the kool aid here...anyone????
First, for any Obamaton to talk issues is akin to being a traitor to the cause. Obama does not talk issues. Remember the last debate?
Second, to all you holier-than-though sex positive, scared of strong women, closet haters, guilty-over-race, hypocrites you are fucking missing the point. I AM VOTING FOR MCCAIN BECAUSE HE IS THE BETTER CANDIDATE COMPARED TO OBAMA. I am not a Democrat first, I am a THINKER FIRST. And as such I could never vote for such human filth. I never thought that I would say it but he makes George Bush look good. Makes him look FUCKING GOOD.
Third, John McCain is an American HERO. He did something most of you are too chicken shit to do--he risked his life for this country. That used to mean something, and still should and still does for many Americans. He may not be the best candidate, but he is far from the worst. FAR from the worst.
Politicians historically worldwide have thrown crumbs to the poor and downtrodden. Crumbs. BO is alligned with some of the richest people in the world, and the fact that you think he is going to toss you more than some moldy crumbs is so mind-dumblingly stupid that if it were not only horribly tragic I would be laughing instead of crying.
If the Kennedy and Rockefeller families wanted to help lower and middle class Americans, they would have ALREADY FUCKING DONE IT PEOPLE. The only president in the last 50 years to help the Middle and lower classes was BILL CLINTON. God you people must be dumber than dirt...honestly.
Finally, the misogyny expressed by Obamatons is so extreme that it actually scares me--and I thought I had a handle on woman hating. ANY woman who could read this site, and still vote for Obama is lost AND deserves what she gets. You people make me sick, and still my heart cries for you....
He will lose, and even if he doesn't you have already lost. The fact that you don't see this seals your fate.

there's something in the water
Seriously, is it a full moon or something? Or did somebody set off a rage grenade?
I don't know whether to take cover or make popcorn.
-
Fuck Rage
You assholes don't even know what real rage is....and you're too scared to find out. Wait until you have to face those of us that said WAKE UP when it is too late to do so...perhaps our pity will have subsided and our actual rage will come out. In that case, better run like hell...run like hell.

ProudTexasTroll
Second, to all you holier-than-though
Well, I'm not particularly religious, but I'd say I'm holier than thee, and a better speller to boot. Thou sayest though when ye mean thou.
sex positive, scared of strong women, closet haters,
At this point, I'll take a closet hater over an overt hater such as yourself. I had an acquaintance in high school who admitted being a neo nazi, used the n word regularly, and still couldn't touch you for your hate.
guilty-over-race, hypocrites you are fucking missing the point. I AM VOTING FOR MCCAIN BECAUSE HE IS THE BETTER CANDIDATE COMPARED TO OBAMA.
Okay, I'll bite. Name exactly one thing that McCain has even promised to do that will be better than what Obama has promised to do. We're waiting with bated breath.
I am not a Democrat first, I am a THINKER FIRST.
Oh, yeah, that's pretty obvious. We're just quibbling about policy details.
