I wonder when they'll start following crazy McCain around with the camera
Waiting for that "Macaca moment".
Or maybe he'll call his wife a c#nt again.
Or cuss out a subordinate for not having a foot stool for him to stand on. What is like 5'4"?
It's like Obama is running against a combination of Ross Perot and Stockdale all rolled up into one, with a little incredible hulk thrown in for color.

Misanalysis
You're making the invalid assumption - or shall we say presumption - that Obama has zero support except from liberals, the young, and blacks. Other demographic groups may prefer Hillary to Obama to some degree, but this in no way precludes the very real possibility that they would support Obama over McCain in November.
I smell a Republican rat.

Obama has some support among that group, but consistent exit polls show it is by no means enough to secure a win in November, since many have no intention of voting for Obama. America is in a serious economic crisis, and by no means ready to try on vague ideas of "change" and "hope" when they need relief from their problems, not some lectures.
Obama's biggest obstacle is he will be portrayed as a liberal in classic fashion by Repubs, and this is always a winning formula...why? Because this country hasn't ever elected a President as liberal as Obama, who resembles Dukakis or McGovern in his political persuasion. I said it before and say it again, I challenge any Obamabot to show me one true liberal President in the last 80 years...JFK? No. LBJ? No... Clinton? No. Truman or FDR? No. There is just no precedent for his brand of liberalism and it isn't going to change because of him. To assume it would is supreme arrogance.

When the military
get a man back after years of captivity and torture, they pin medals on his chest, pay him honors, and give him every possible reward. The one thing they never do is put him back in a position of responsibility.
Whether or not John McCain has been compromised permanently, and there is a lot of evidence that he has been, and is, NO SANE COUNTRY CAN TAKE THE CHANCE OF THAT BEING THE CASE.
There are two kinds of returning prisoners that were tortured or threatened with torture:
1. Those who told the enemy everything and cooperated with them, and then on release told our intelligence all about it, AND
2. Those who told the enemy everything and cooperated with them and then came home and lied about it. The second are the most dangerous persons imaginable.
John McCain is clearly the second type.
HOW CAN ANY SANE PERSON TAKE A CHANCE ON HIM BEING WHAT I AND OTHERS SAY HE IS?
Fact is a man will do ANYTHING under torture, ANYTHING. Things he would be ashamed of, things that he can be blackmailed for, and that is a fact. McCain simply lies when he said he was not broken by torture, or the threat of torture. We have broken every single terrorist we have gotten our hands on, how are we to believe the Red Chinese could not break Mr. Cain?

Credible?
Several credible analysts have shown that Hillary's chances of winning the nomination at this point are small and are very likely to decrease. Her continued pursuit of the nomination increasingly confirms her willingness to damage the party for her own aggrandizement.
Unless you're a Republican, that's bad. Are you?

Not an analysis, but an Obama camp talking point...worthless...

I love your slam of walter_map...like any good Obamabot, he follows the master, and feels he has to lecture his subjects...well, most of us aren't listening or caring what he or Obama says...

One last time.
I challenge any Obamabot to show me one true liberal President in the last 80 years...JFK? No. LBJ? No... Clinton? No. Truman or FDR? No. There is just no precedent for his brand of liberalism and it isn't going to change because of him. To assume it would is supreme arrogance.
I'm beginning to think that you're not really interested in any kind of discussion.
What exactly is Obama's brand of liberalism? How do you define liberal and why do FDR, Truman, LBJ, and Clinton fail to meet that criteria?
You're beginning to sound like Humpty Dumpty.

If folks thought the campaign against Hillary was negative
They haven't seen anything yet.
McCain will be a hell of a lot easier to break than Clinton.
He's already halfway there.

That New Time Religion
John McCain grew up Episcopalian. He went to an Episcopalian high school. For at least 15 years, he has been listed as an Episcopalian in authoritative directories such as the Almanac of American Politics and Congressional Quarterly's Politics in America 2008. He told a reporter from McClatchy News Service in June 2007 that he was an Episcopalian.
Suddenly, in September 2007, he's campaigning in South Carolina, the heavily Baptist state where George W. Bush barely managed to stop McCain's presidential campaign 8 years ago. And guess what? McCain tells a reporter "By the way, I'm not Episcopalian. I'm Baptist."
When pressed, he said he's attended the North Phoenix Baptist Church in Arizona for more than 15 years, though he has never been baptized in that church. Now see, that's exactly the problem. Baptism is kind of a big thing in the Baptist Church. (That's how they got the name.) No baptism, not Baptist.
Anyway, details aside, this is one very clear indication of how McCain has changed. Now, he's just another hungry politician, happy to pander if it helps him win. Which eliminates the very reason people were excited about him in 2000 -- his honesty.

@xufapemu McCain
Saw McCain on the Daily Show tonight. I'm sure video will be available on the web. He didn't look too good. I may be projecting, but I think he may be fading a bit.

I was prevuing all of the McCain dirt because most of the people who say they're Hillary supporters here are actually Republicans (I do the same thing on free republic site though I attack McCain as a Huckabee supporter).
