What would it take for Clinton to concede defeat? An insider remembers -- and draws lessons from -- the backroom deals that ended another brutal, racially charged Democratic slugfest.
  • Thank you MaddieP

Thankyou Maddie P. I also am disgusted by the so-called Obama supporters on here showing a complete lack of civility, repellant misogyny and good sportsmanship. I strongly believe they are just GOP trolls, if not waaay too hung up on this primary race.

KateTex- I noticed you didn't bother to respond to the other poster who asked a Clinton supporter to back up Clinton's claims about being the candidate with the experience to do the job.

I have to wonder, if an Obama supporter, or better yet a Biden or Richardson supporter said "I agree with Clinton on most of the issues and I am a loyal Democrat, but I just don't think she has the experience to be president, so I'm going to vote for McCain" what would you say to that person?

    You said:

    >> Contrast this with Barack Obama, married to a woman who thinks

    >>this country is downright mean and nasty (even though she's done very,

    >>very well for herself).

This is a flat-out lie that you keep repeating. I'm sure you KNOW McCain and the GOP used Michelle Obama's quote for political theater-and even they didn't make more than a day's worth of hay about it. Michelle Obama clarified the quote by explaining that she was especially proud of the hunger for change voters were showing, but that she has always been and always will be extremely proud of her country and went on to say "Barack and I, our stories wouldn’t be possible, if it weren’t for fundamental belief and pride in this country and what it stands for.”

Just because Obama has been less than worshipful of the Clinton years doesn't add up to him being "less than high on America". He is no less a patriot than Hillary Clinton.

I mean if you have to make up lies and repeat Republican talking points to hurt Obama you might as well vote McCain, and campaign for him too. When Bill Clinton ran for president, the usual suspects told us he was an America-hater who burned the flag and dodged the draft, remember? If Clinton is the nominee, those same people will be telling us SHE hates America. Will you believe them and repeat their claims then?
