@Celia
As far as I can tell, everybody wants a resoultion of the mess in MI and FL- but neither Obama nor his supporters (I am one) have or tried to disenfranchise voters there.
Oh really? Obama has been arguing that he is somehow owed half the Florida delegates, which is utter nonsense.
My greater point is not about seating delegates - that is the least of the problem. The issue is the fall election - if voters in these two states feel marginalized by a process they had little control over, it's going to be that much harder to get them out in November. The Dems need one if not both states to win, and if the voters feel their delegates were ignored or unfairly apportioned, it'll be uphill all the way.
I'm kind of suprpised that people are pushing the MI results especially since 45% of people turned out to vote against Hillary with no one else on the ballot!
What arrogance - in other words, everyone who voted "uncommitted" in Michigan wasn't voting FOR Obama or Edwards, they were simply voting AGAINST Hillary. That will come as news to plenty of my friends there!
Of course, it's perfectly in tune with so many Obama supporters in these threads - ask why they're for Obama and the only answer you'll get is a tirade against Hillary.
Pathetic.
