    You would be wrong. It is not at all unfeasible that in a black population, a white democrat would win over a black republican. It has happened several times that I am aware of.

    Moreover, while the UK may have its merits in place on same matters Race, I think it would be well out of order to suggest it is not an issue. Indeed, when Galloway won in Tower Hamlets (was it?) he was accused repeatedly of race baiting (local muslim populations) and unseating 'Britain's only black parliamentarian who had supported the Iraq war..
