Her failure to challenge Barack Obama's huge momentum among African-Americans -- not a given at the start -- may have doomed her campaign.
  • she botched not only the black vote..

but she also appears to be in the process of botching the educated vote beyond all repair. I imagine that every time she rails against the "elites", like...you know...economists and whatnot, she drives the wedge further and further between her and the educated set.

A demographic who, correct me if I'm wrong, broke in a big way for the Greens in 2000. It seems to me that alienating this group is arguably on par with alienated the African Americans. My gut instinct tells me that the latter will stay at home in November and sit out the elections, but the former will go out for 3rd parties in a big way. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see either Nader or the Greens get that magic 5% if Clinton pulls of the upset of the ages.

She sounds more and more like a Republican to these ears, and I'm thinking if she gets the nomination that Nader would be able to make his "both parties are the same" argument ALOT easier than if Obama gets it.
