Obama can win
Realclearpolitics.com has a listing of polls and a summary of them. Most polls show Obama beating McCain. Some show a tie.
On average, Hillary beats McCain, too, by a smaller margin and some polls show her losing.
Whoever the polls show winning now, the margins are very small, meaning they are subject to events: I can suggest a few:
Deeper delving into the millions raked in by the Clintons and the Clinton Library reveal lots of slime.
McCain gets a cold at the end of the general election campaign and looks like an old geezer with one foot in the grave.
Too many old pals of Obama's turn out to be too like Wright.
