Letters to the Editor

Sean Wilentz spun a fantasy in his Salon piece about Clinton's electability. In the real world, it's Barack Obama who's more electable.
  • democrats vote based on race?

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” - Martin Luther King, Jr.

“The argument that Wilentz should have made is that this spring's primary results show that white reluctance to vote for an African-American candidate could be a real and important factor this November...”Brad DeLong

According to Brad, democrats, voting in their primaries, fail to live up to Dr. King’s dreams.

But that doesn’t stop the democrats from promoting themselves as the morally superior party when it comes to race relations.

The democrats use minorities, time and time again, to secure power for themselves.
