Why Hillary Clinton should be winning

Under a winner-take-all primary system, Hillary Clinton would have a wide lead over Barack Obama -- and enough delegates to clinch the nomination by June.

Touche, Amity

But as a poor student and lowly clinton supporter, my budget is already stretched thin. I suppose I'll just have to wallow in my second class reader/poster status.

Wilentz via Wikipedia

Wilentz appeared before the House Judiciary Committee on December 8, 1998 to argue against the Clinton impeachment. His testimony — he told the House members that, if they voted for impeachment but were not convinced Clinton's offenses were impeachable, "history will track you down and condemn you for your cravenness" — cheered Democratic partisans but was criticized by the New York Times, which lamented his "gratuitously patronizing presentation" in an editorial.

He loves those Clintons!

I understand you're considered one of the finest academic historians in the country.

You seem to wanna be a pundit.

Who wrote this, wolfson or penn?

Salon has zero credibility. Fox-like, how they propogate and cloud the debate. How they take a side of a candidate.

Remember when a journalist thrived for credibility? Where have those days, and those professionals gone. It's like me saying ucla is going to win the championship, or the 49ers. I may WANT it to happen. But if I allow what "I want" to cloud the agrument of my job would I then be bad at my job?

If I am a salesman and I want to sell you a product, I can say anything for you to buy it. If it is a failed product, like salon commentary propoganda, then I would lose credibility as a salemen. As a result I go out of business.

I hope the same happens to salon. how are the gop's dittohead cult of propogandists and sayers of "what they want or would like" (rather than "what is"), any differant than bushs? how is salon any differant than fox with their constant GOP propoganda against the democratic candidate (obama).

you lay down with dogs you get fleas, salon. The gop and their cult fascist propogandists are about to be irrelevant for a generation. Looks like for some reason salon wants to join them. Why? Is whatever they are getting worth the price they are paying? What are they getting for constant gop propoganda and heresay, gossip. Only joan and the editors know.

what can WE as progressives/democrats/independant thinkers do? Simple. We stop giving joan and salon what they thrive for. Credibility, hits (money), and your time. Do what will soon be done to the rush's and o'reilly's of the world. Render them irrelevant.

It's for their own good. That is the only way to bring the gop and their propogandists (salon included) back to reality. They must earn the above again. they have fallen off. to allow them to continue to do this fox-like propoganda and to not hold them to account, makes us as bad as the fascist dittohead gop. Stop coming here, please. This site is done and closing up soon. don't give the propogandists the beneif of your anger and words. They do this for the money as fox does. The more lies and propoganda, the angrier WE progressives/democrat/independant thinkers get. AND they MAKE money.

Screw that. Give salon and joan what they have earned (irrelevance) TO NOT do that does these new republcains no favors. Ar isk/reward game they play. Without the risk they will never change. they risk their relevant and credibility. time to show salon their is a consequence for playing these games. Leave the republcains to play these games with themselves, and die out as a result.

PS. I was banned from this site for calling out joan and alex months ago. Nothing else, other than ME fighting for salons credibility FOR them. If they don't want credibility what are they? What is a newsman/women who does not care about credibility? a propogandists? If they are professing fascist principles? Fascist p[ropogandists? It pains me to say, yes salon is.

It's bad enough when the sell-out clinton moderates did nothing to fight the bush cronies. They did nothing to stop those destroying america. They did nothing to help the movement fighting the gop. Now they do their work and side with them? A risk/reward game. The gop never has to face accountability for their words. In their twisted world lies and spin IS credibility. Liying is credibility. Up is down and black is white.

WE are not republican clone dittoheads salon. You are here to provide INFORMATION to US. Not gossip, not heresay, not opinion. FACTS. Truth.

You are sell-outs. you have sided with those destroying america against those fighting for it. Thus you are republcain sabotuers now, a la rush limbaugh. And you can AND WILL share teh right-wing propoganda fate.

It's time to say good-bye to salon people. no other optiion will right this ship. If you used to love this site, please stop coming here. Nothing else will change them, and breaks joan walsh's iron grip. Don't do it for me. Leave this site for joan walsh, for salon, for the movement, for the democratic party, for the country. Salon has sold out all of us. They must face a consequence for that. If not they will only worsen. Shut this site down salon readers. Only you have the power. They refuse to listen to reason. Risk/reward. Give it to them

Peace.

@Slider

I answered you several pages back with my thoughts.

And I will add to that personally and honestly, I don't know if I will vote for Obama. I'm one of those older women who identifies with Hillary and I don't think I am wrong in my analysis of the many other women's identification with her. If I do, I don't think I will be voting for him but for his suspicious promise about healthcare reform (honestly, I don't believe Obama really means any change on this - I think he goes on about just to get elected) and hopefully to get us out of Iraq (again another doubtful and suspicious promise) and last not to vote for another republican. But if the election were held to day.... I'd have a strong impulse to just write in Clinton's name.

Yep, that's a vote for McCain but I am sick to death of being railroaded and arm-twisted by Obama and his supporters. I'm sick of the unabashed sexism that is used and tolerated against Clinton and against older women in general. I'm sick to death of lack of any real media discussion or presentation of anything that's not pro-Obama - smacks of totalitarianism and republicanism. I don't mind criticism of Clinton as long as it's fair and balanced and as long as fair and balanced criticism of Obama is presented also. And I don't find that many places and certainly rarely here.

But ya'll will just have to wait until November to see if I change my mind, won't you?

And I'll say this, if you're about to give me some arm-twisting and baited argument on "issues", blah, blah, blah, don't bother. I've heard and read it all before. I've never seen an "discussion" here by an Obama supporter that isn't used as bait to rehash all the same Obama talking points and I'm not biting.
