Under a winner-take-all primary system, Hillary Clinton would have a wide lead over Barack Obama -- and enough delegates to clinch the nomination by June.

To say that voters in Michigan and Florida, or in states that use caucuses, are being disenfranchised is absurd. Disenfranchisement means not being permitted to vote in an actual election that results in electing an actual candidate to an actual office. I don't know how to say it more clearly than that. If you don't like how your party selects candidates, reform your party or join another one. But don't complain that the selection is process is undemocratic: it has fuck-all to do with democracy.

thank you! this "disenfranchisment" talk been a bug-bear in my side for weeks now. It's a pretty dishonest emotional-charged appeal that just reeks to me...

(btw - I support Obama, and I think there should be a 100% new vote. Nobody left off b/c they voted in the Republican primary, just a total redo. Why? Because I'm pretty sure Obama would win big in Michigan and come damn close in Florida)
