    Wow

Try praying to the god that our founding fathers prayed to? No god? I'm already there.

The fact that people see me as smearing the rich tells all. I did not. I said that they are lucky to be rich, the vast majority of them. I have nothing against people who are lucky and who have benefited from an environment that rewards their skills (not speaking of the unscrupulous here, of which there are many). All I said is that the notion that they inherently deserve that money, and that society can't tax them for reaping the windfalls of a social construct, is problematic.

And all this talk of crack whores suggests a lot of displacement. You have to be on pretty shaky moral ground to see any significant percentage of the people who didn't get lucky (or game the system) as crack whores. I'm guessing that cheating on your taxes demands some kind of bizarre view of the unwashed masses to help you sleep at night.

To all of those who are claiming Leonard is advancing marxism, or believe that our "free market" is really that, there's little I can say. You are stuck in your world view.

I only pray, to whatever god, that when the shit hits the fan, those of you who seem to think the rich are somehow better than the poor are brought down there with your fellow Americans, so that you can think about what an asshole you are now. I can think of few gods who would consider any other outcome divine.
