The current spotlight on China's human rights record fails to illuminate its cruel and inhumane treatment of dogs and cats.
  • What is it about puppies that cause outrage?

Isn't the whole point of the Olympics to come together and ignore the host country's, and every other participating country's, indignities and right's violations in the name of cultural exchange? With the hope of the latter influencing the former?

We kill a million civilians in Iraq and people freak out over a marine throwing a puppy off of a cliff. China is a police state that actively promotes and encourages eugenics programs and implements eugenics policies (i.e. one child per family, traveling execution vans), slave labor, and shady organ harvesting of dissidents and the religious, just to name a few of their dignity destroying policies.

But oh noes, some of the Chinese eat puppies!

So will everyone be wearing their Reporters Without Borders t-shirts in Beijing? The one with Hitler's Olympic Ring Design replaced with handcuffs? (the logo consisting of five interlocking colored rings was designed by Hitler, those Nazis and their occult fetishes)

I always get a chuckle out of seeing someone with an Olympic logo on clothing or a banner or flag or whatever. It amuses me to see a design by Adolph Hitler being flaunted by an ignorant populace, especially when the logo is to somehow be associated with "Human Rights". But it is pretty ironic that a logo designed by a totalitarian police state when hosting the Olympics is being protested when a different totalitarian police state is hosting.
