Meanwhile in Iraq...
...John McCain puts on his presidential dog and pony show while the Deomcrats snipe and fued over who's surrogate said what about who or made some looney remark. To that huge group of voters who don't vote in primary elections McCain looks like he's on top of things while the Democrats become sillier and more irrelevant. The Democratic contest has descended into such buffoonary that neither will stand much of a chance come November.

The Campaign and spinning..
Both candidates can put that old spinning wheel away. All the spin in the world does not change facts and the facts are that no one will know the results, despite the polls, until the election.
Primaries do not count. In a primary, voters cross over from one party to another, thereby throwing all polling statistics way off.
Just hold your horses, and then in the fall, giddy up!
A vote for Hillary is one well cast. A vote for Obama is the same.
A vote for McCain is a vote for the continuation of the policies in which we are now involved, with the ship of state sinking fast. Why else would McCain meet Cheney in Iraq? Why does McCain have lobbyists running his bid for the White House?
You choose.

I forgot to mention....
The baby stroller pusher Ladies were topless.
One day a dang bee stung me on my bare penis.
It swelled up the size of a soft ball. I'm No kidding.
Don't visit political rally's with no pants on any day.

@ arandi
The bulk of Rev. Wright's rants were right on the $$$...
Again what did the good Rev state that was inaccurate???
Thank you for being honest arandi. Don't you wish Sen. Obama was?
Some republican talking points for November now circulating:
1) Senator Obama chose the title of his book "The Audacity of Hope" based on a sermon of Rev. Wright. Did he consider "God Damn America" but it didn't focus-group well?
2) Audio now circulating has Rev. Wright shouting "God Damn America" and some other choice excerpts intercut with Barack Obama saying "Just Words".
More to come. Wonder how this will play in middle America. Electable? hmmmm

buffoonery -
what a great word - That's why we all should now put our hands over our hearts and we are all going to embrace our emotions,
like good Americans and not like nasty thoughtful nitpicking Germans!

@feelfree
Interesting anecdote about your dad. In my case, my wife and I have always voted Democrat, but we'll vote McCain if Obama is the Dem's candidate. My reasons are in my letter history -- and don't worry about scanning through them, I don't post that much. So, there are many angles to this particular polyhedron.
And, as always, good luck in getting your candidate into the White House.

WHO CARRIES OHIO?
And who will carry Ohio? I ask because if you do not carry Ohio, it doesn't matter how favorable the "wine rack" set sees you in New Jersey, does it?
Obama can have Mississippi. Who the hell wants it anyway?

First, the Rev. Wright's tirade was racist. You may spin that any way you wish, but, I'm tired of hearing that kind of garbage from black leaders and having people apologize for them. Racism is racism regardless of the origin of those comments or to whom the epithets are directed.
Second, Obama only dismissed the comments AFTER they were prominently played on YouTube, et al. If they hadn't been so widely portrayed, he would have remained silent. Lovely.
Third, "what did the good Rev state that was inaccurate"? Congrats! You're right on up there with your hypocrisy. If a white Rev had made the same or similar remarks, the outrage would be deafening and the indignation overwhelming.
I would prefer the campaign rhetoric be concerning ideas, plans and dreams; it seems that the Obama supporters think that whatever THEY say is good and whatever Clinton supporters say is bad, racist, demeaning and hurtful. That, sir or madam, is hypocritical. I simply called attention to that hypocrisy. Sorry if you don't like the truth, but, there it is.
Bottom line: The racial makeup of the United States is (approximately) 76% caucasian, 11% latino, 10% black and 3% "other". If you think that by playing the "blacks-are-always-victims-and-whites-are-always-the-devil" race card you're going to win over a majority of caucasians ( or, latinos ), your math skills are as suspect as your political acumen.
Raise the level of political discourse to respectful disagreement; I think you'll find that it will be returned to you at that same level.

the problem with campaign rhetoric is it is always bad, racist, demeaning and hurtful and always at the same time concerning ideas, plans and dreams - that' why it is called
"campaign rethoric"!

To M. Bee
Wright isn't running for office.
Farraro isn't running for office.
Bill Clinton isn't running for office.
Obama supporters aren't running for office.
Hillary Clinton supporters aren't running for office.
Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are running for office.
Voting for Barack Obama and hoping to get someone who is deeply embedded with the angry Black Rhetoric which sometimes comes out of the African American community would be misguided.
Just as I think voting for Hillary Clinton would not get more power to some of the Femiweird types who see sexist undertones in every three words.
I would not however, call anyone retarded as that actually insults those lovely humans that habit the Mentally Retarted community, most of whome are actually very nice if you bothered to talk to any of them and would never use your very state-of-being as an insult.

pieceofcake
Try German Sauerkraut Cake. There really is a chocolate recipe and ya's can't tell it's made with sour cabbage. It would make for wedding happy? It would be a great last celebration treat.
Remember German Richard Wagner's wedding advice? "He comes the misery, soon all will be cranky, and all dressed in white....Yikes!

The texture is perfect and it never stales.
Where is Glenn? He may be holding a walker?
He may be leading a conga line dance somewhere?
