Anonymous Billary Fanatics...
Just remember that every time you post more vitriole against Obama, you are turning off another voter who might have voted for your beloved Queen of Bureacracia...
You Billary-aholics are doing far more to elect John McCain than the RNC ever could.
Good going, morons...keep anonymouthing off --

Crystal Ball
Re: "I know there is no way Hillary is going to win the general election. "
Do you have a crystal ball? Let's see the media told us that Hillary would not win New Hampshire, but she did. They told us she would not win CA, but she did. They told us she would not win Massachusetts, but she did. Everybody underestimates Hillary.
There is no proof that Obama will have an easier time beating McCain than Hillary will.

You say that you have heard all the stuff I have posted before. Have you ever thought you might keep hearing the same stuff because alot of people think this? Do you honestly think that Hillary would be a serious candidate if it weren't for her husband? Hillary is where she is because of who she is married to. Barack is where he is due to his own hard work.

NYAmiga
What do you mean "we"? Not all Latinos "love" Hillary for your given reasons. There are people out there who "love" Hillary because of her intelligence, her politics, and her perceived ability to run this country, etc.
Dang. All of you Latino's out there who have this "we" mentality it is time for you think for yourselves. Read, study, listen with a progressive mind. Why should you be lead, blindly, by emotions and a mob mentality? Think for yourselves. If you like her, and vote for her based on facts, wonderful.
Based on what I have read from most of the "Latinos" it is apparent that you are unlearned and is taking the easy way out by mimicking what you see.

Get a Clue
Re: "We are diverse. Richard Rodriguez is Mexican American...They think they are the center of the universe"
Don't trash Mexicans to make your point. Latinos in NY voted for Hillary in even higher numbers than they did in CA, but somehow your vote was based on the issues and ours wasn't? Get real.
Rodriguez is way off base with this one, but I have read ridiculous assessments of our vote from Caribbean Latinos too.

No crystal ball required
It doesn't take a crystal ball to realize that Hillary has a problem attracting independents. Just go back and look at the election results. Barack Obama and John McCain gain a lot of votes from independents. Hillary only gets votes from Democrats. Common sense should tell you that she will have a problem in the general election.

Learn to read Keithy!
I didn't say that I wouldn't vote for Obama. I said you were turning people off to Obama.
Other Anonymous, I didn't say one word against Obama. Learn to read.
Also, I don't like men who beat up on chicas.
You can call me Zorro!
But I am through with you both. You are used tissue!

Riding Coattails
A mini history lesson:
http://www.womensmediacenter.com/ex/020108.html
Goodbye to the shocking American ignorance of our own and other countries’ history. Margaret Thatcher and Golda Meir rose through party ranks and war, positioning themselves as proto-male leaders. Almost all other female heads of government so far have been related to men of power—granddaughters, daughters, sisters, wives, widows: Gandhi, Bandaranike, Bhutto, Aquino, Chamorro, Wazed, Macapagal-Arroyo, Johnson Sirleaf, Bachelet, Kirchner, and more. Even in our “land of opportunity,” it’s mostly the first pathway “in” permitted to women: Representatives Doris Matsui and Mary Bono and Sala Burton; Senator Jean Carnahan . . . far too many to list here.

@ Keithy
Barack is where he is partly because of Michelle. That is two income family you are talking about there. She is a good public speaker on his behalf and she makes sure his kids are cared for while he campaigns. Go read the interview with her at Vanity Fair.

Not so fast!
IF Obama is the candidate I guarantee my vote goes to McCain! At least I know him. I know the Neo-Con Republicans do not like him so that has to be a good thing. I know he is against torture so that is also good! Yeah he is for staying in Iraq, but at least it is something we have become somewhat used to. God only knows what you are going to get with Obama! You can bet your bottom dollar I will not vote for Obama! EVER!

Coattails
There are a lot of American women politicians that have made their own way without riding on the husband's coattails. We are in the mess we are in right now because Dumbya rode his dad's coattails into the White House. Don't we ever learn from our mistakes?

Hype
Re: "Just go back and look at the election results"
I have. And I see that Obama does well in Republican states, but not well enough to swing those state to the Democrats. He gets a lot of media attention, but he doesn't win any big states that the Democrats will need in the fall.
I blame Ted Kennedy. He thought his endorsement would swing everybody to Obama and end Hillary's candidacy. Instead, it just split the party.

Look, Keithy, I understand that both candidates arouse strong emotions
but I've also noticed repetitive phrases, words until it becomes mind-numbing. The word "shill" is frequently used as a term of abuse but that word is unknown outside of North America, although it's very easy to guess its meaning. Initially, I wanted to know what is meant by "Latinos" as allof Central and South America are often referred to as Latin America. Some brave souls did their best to explain but this discussion deteriorated into a raucous free-for-all. To refer to a man as a "Latin lover" was regarded as a compliment in Europe - Antonio Banderas would fit that stereotype. The European/Mediterranean people are thought of as Latin but it certainly is not a big bone of contention as it seems to be on this site. Just to show off how "educated" I am, I'll finish with a bit of Latin, knowing very well that many, many intelligent people were never lucky enough to get an educaion. Quod erat demonstrandum.
