  • Why I'm still not for Hillary Clinton

Ms Kissling's comment "I am supporting John Edwards, whose economic policies I think will best serve women." says it all. Her self-proclaimed active feminism seems to be just a cover for a special interest seeking privilege. One would think that someone with such an illustrious C.V. would be working from a much broader intellectual base. The angst about Bill Clinton and his sexual proclivities is pathetic. What Clinton did with a consenting adult and what arrangements he came to with his partner are no one's business but their's despite the people of America's prurient interests.

If Ms Kissling believes that a candidate's campaign statement on the potential methods of solving the Iraq or any other issue are to be the omega of possible resolutions she is niave to say the least.

Before MS Clinton is able to use "her extensive international experience to push for more women in party leadership, state legislatures and even the Senate" she must be elected. Until then the point is moot.

The idea that the president must be a feminist and pro women at the expense and possible exclusion of others is the ultimate in arrogance.
