This White Boy Left Years Ago
Never thought I would be writing a letter to the editor of Salon but this is just to good. My thanks to Rush Limbaugh for having this on his website.
Not all white male Republicans are "southern bubbas", the Democrats have done an excellent job of alienating many other white boys. My whole Boston Irish family was true blue Democrat, it was part of our identity but times change. For me it was in the late 70's when the Democrat Party decided as a matter of policy white males had less civil rights. I voted for Reagan in 1984 and have never looked back.
I've lived in coastal California for 35 years and have watched these idiots (I must be polite) turn the late great state of California into the Peoples Republik of Kalifornia. Now they want to do this to the rest of of the country??
This article just points out that the Democrats are to myopic to see what they have done and to arrogant to care if they could see.

I always knew that people who listen to drug limpdick are deluded, but I had no idea that they are all miserable wretches as well. The self loathing inherent in their desperate justification of their moral superiority could keep a team of psychiatrists busy for several lifetimes. I would pity them if their hypocrisy and self righteousness hadn't resulted in so many needless deaths of innocent people in faraway lands, stretching all the way back to Reagan. Instead I despise them and everything they stand for. There may or may not be a god that will judge them in the afterlife, but here on earth they deserve as much scorn and loathing as we can muster.
Disclaimer: I am a white boy who grew up in Colorado, in a district where the republican congressman routinely runs unopposed, so I am quite familiar with the breed. White male is sort of a misnomer, what we are really talking about is rednecks.

Good ridance....
Hey, I am a "white boy" but I say good ridance to us. If we can't vote right, and we certainly can't, we need to step aside. Eight more years of a republican in the White House, and this country will be doomed. The laws violating the Constitution that Bush/Cheney and Congress have enacted will be set in stone with 8 more years of GOP rule, and then it will be time to say hello to my new country, Canada.

No need to fear
Mr. Schaller and his supporters need not fret. Demographically speaking, white people will no longer be a force relatively soon, in about 20 years. the country will be half "minority" and the republicans will never win another election. The only thing I don't get is why people like this have no concern for their own kind. Every other group openly admits their bias. The only reason white people like Schaller don't feel the effect of the bias is because of numbers. The numbers will change and white will feel it. Let us hope that Schaller and his ilk that have brought this about are happy with it.
