Bob in Pacifica can you cite your sources?
That's quite a claim, that more "white" people hate Bonds than "black" people. Where did you come up with that statistic? Did it come from out your ass? So give us the research, if you have any.
And is it "per capita" as in percentages? Such as "31.094 percent of "black people" as determined by the U.S. Census of 2000" as opposed to "68.906 percent of "White people" hate Bonds.
Why did you leave out our nation's fastest growing majority minority, Hispanic people? Some of them are Caucasian, some mestizo, some "brown" and some "black." There's a lot of people in that demo who follow baseball. How do they feel about Bonds?

go into the dugout and give Barry a hug? Will he be waiting in the locker room after the game with a bouquet of pink roses? What is he supposed to do? I'm serious. Tell me, because I can't imagine what difference it would make.
2. Bud Selig doesn't show up. What happens? What will this signify? Will Barry Bonds say something nasty about Selig? What do you think he will say?
3. Bud Selig shows up and Bonds acts like a complete asshole. What will this signify? What do you think will happen then?
4. Selig shows up, but he and Bonds are so egotistical, neither one will talk to the other one. Selig looks down from his skybox, Bonds ignores him. What will happen then? What will that signify? Who will "win"? What is to be won or lost at all?
Will any of your lives be enriched or impoverished if scenario 1, 2, 3, or 4 happens? How long do you think this story will stay in the headlines, one week, two weeks? Until the NFL exhibition games? Until the World Series?

Most of you people are so pathetic!
Barry Bonds has not tested positive for streroids--period. The reason why he is called surly and nasty is because he has never genuflected to the sports press--most of whom are nothing but a bunch of gossipy morons. As far as teammates are concerned, of the legion that supposedly can't stand him, only one ex-teammate (can't think of his name now, but they were both known as home-run hitters and I think it was more of a one-upmanship deal) has been quoted as actually saying anything bad about Bonds. Others, current and past, have publicly said he is a good and helpful teammate who just likes to keep to himself.
And for the idiot who compared Bonds to Ty Cobb: you are a moron! Ty Cobb beat up people, and I don't mean metaphorically. He is even said to have killed a black man, just because he was a bigot and the man was black. Some say it's a rumor, some fact, but since he had no qualms about beating the crap out of anyone he wanted and he was never even arrested for it, I wouldn't be surprised if it is the truth. If Barry Bonds purposefully sneezed on someone, he'd be in jail so fast, I'm sure you wouldn't even notice the lack of a trial, etc. Moron!

And a new question:
What if Bud Selig attends the BIG HOMER and it's just an anticlimax? Bud and Barry get together, do a lackluster, rather forced, grip and grin in front of the cameras, then get in their separate limos and drive away?
What will happen then? How will you feel? What will it matter to you? Will anything be resolved? Is this an issue even worthy of all the attention it has been given, or is it just media generated hype?
I really want to know how you think about this. If at all.

Update on last night's Little League game on the city's diamonds under the lights
The kids played with enthusiasm and did their best. Just about every race on earth was represented on the two teams. Nobody paid any attention, nobody noticed. One team won, one team lost (but only by two runs) and after the game was over, the moms and dads drove their mini-vans full of kids to the pizza parlor and the winners and losers both had a lot of pizza and soda and everybody said it was a good game.
That's how it is supposed to be.

I can't speak for your other impersonations, but the one of me is way of the mark. I've never used the term "the Man" in my life; until proven otherwise, I don't believe Barry Bonds took steroids (maybe the HGH in liquid form in the lotion-which wasn't banned from baseball until 2005); I KNOW Ty Cobbs was evil--not because he was white, but because he WAS evil (he was the one who thought that being white gave him license to practice his evil ways) and I know how to pronounce and spell "ignorant."
I love good impersonators--especially ones who actually pay attention to their subjects--not the ones who project their own biases and povs instead.
