    Bud has to show up

For better or worse, modern baseball is as Bud and his cronies have made it, and for him not to be present at its culmination because he doesn't like the result is hugely hypocritical.

(Personally, I was 7 years old in 1974, stayed up late to watch the #715 game on April 8, and consider Mr. Aaron a personal hero. Steroids or no steroids, good luck getting anyone to say the same about Bonds in 30 years.)
