  • more bee stuff

I always enjoy Garrison. Good info on bees Larry but you failed to mention that drones are the result of virgin birth themselves. They have a grandfather but no father. The queen can choose to lay either a fertilized egg that will result in a worker bee or an unfertilized egg that turns into a fat, friendly, loud male. They made great pets for my daughter ( they have no stinger) and she was always rescuing them. The worker bees are considered incomplete females....I know what sexist crap. In a hive that loses it's queen, and is unable to raise a new one, a worker can lay eggs. These eggs of course are unfertilized and and all will be drones. A hive with no future. Will I may go try some of those cures for my tinnitus...maybe planters wart remedy will work.
