if there is a "personality", even a fake one, attached to any information then the information becomes subordinate, in the minds of most people, to whether they think the "personality" in question is nice, or not nice, or on their side, or not. If you want the discussion to consists of 90% conventional bromides/pieties (what qualifies as these varies with the venue) or elaborate begging to be allowed to deviate from the above (or hysterical responses to the failure to do sufficient preparation for telling anyone what they don't want to hear) then by all means get rid on anonymous posting.
