Mr. Mustard said another poster challened the commenters to "say something about losing weight she hadn't heard before, and do so without making her feel ashamed, disgusted or unhappy"
I struggle with my weight and I think I can do so.
It's fun to work out. After you get a routine going and demand that it not get squeezed out of your schedule, no matter what anyone else thinks, no matter what you had to eat or what anyone else thinks of it, no matter if you got invited to too many parties in a row and had too much good food, good drinks, and good time with your friends, no matter if you eat because you're social and it's fun and your guard comes down when you're with your circle of friends or why, no matter if you have the latest and cutest workout gear or an old T-shirt and shorts, no matter if you pay for a gym or hit the trail outdoors, no matter if you listen to audiobooks or hiphop or techno or that evil caterwauling with female singers called pop, no matter if you read a magazine on the machines or take a class or watch TV while doing the treadmill or the rowing machine, it's fun to work out. It feels good. After a while it's more and more fun and feels better and better. It feels good even if it weren't about using calories. It feels good because it's also about de-stressing and time for YOU.
